I arrived quite late on a cold and stormy Tuesday night to be welcomed in by Steve and shown to a lovely warm well presented room. Facilities were 1st class as was the soft comfy bed. A great breakfast and would recommend this B&B to anyone looking in the area.

Thank you for leaving a review for us - we really appreciate it. You really did arrive on a wild evening here in Dartmoor as 'the storm with no name' took hold in the south west! We're glad you still managed to get a restful evening, and enjoyed the room and breakfast. We hope your onward journey was relatively smooth...

Just returned home from our 4th stay at Barnabas House since last Summer. It's a fantastic B&B in a good location for both the coast and Dartmoor. Steve and Angela are just lovely; very welcoming and helpful hosts and have put up with all the highs and lows of our recent house search in the area! Barnabas House is spotlessly...

Not just because the breakfasts are plentiful, the bed was very comfortable, the shower is fantastic and the roads are great ... but also because Steve is a total enthusiast too so knew all the good places to go. The room was well equipped for relaxing...

I have stayed at several B & B's in the Yelverton area and had many experiences!! Was welcomed by Steve who, after sorting the necessary paperwork, took me to room 7 on the ground floor and immediately offered a cup of tea.The room is spacious, the bed is unbelievably comfy, the room is warm and there is loads of hot...

Thank you for your review. It's good to hear you were cosy and warm in your room on what was a cold evening. It's always a surprise when we meet a guest who lives near (or in your case in the same road) a friend that lives a couple of hundred miles away! We're glad you enjoyed your brief stay...

As soon as we arrived we felt at home. We booked a double room and the ground floor which we were shown after the relevant details were given. We asked about getting to Tavistock and were told the bus stop was about 4 mins walk opposite the village shops and it left every half hour. Our room had all the...

Steve welcomed us into Barnabas House after a long journey, we had been jostled around in Plymouth and just needed a bit of calm after the Christmas shopping madness that is Drakes Circus.
