This is classic Pig, no stone left unturned, relaxed staff & wonderful spot, yes its not cheap but you cannot have this sort of venue and food at a knockdown price. The whole Pig world does border on pretentious but you have to forgive Them that and just enjoy the place, the food, the staff.

If you like food and care where it comes from you will find 'The Pig" so comforting. The surroundings ooze the charm and warmth of natural colours and the personal taste of some one who is in tune with comfort but subtle not overdone. Staff are very attentive and welcoming without being over the top.

This hotel is a masterclass on how a hotel should be run.. the ambience is relaxed luxury and although it feels laid back for the guest, the staff are hardworking, delightful, and incredibly professional in making you feel important and nurtured. We stayed here when it was under different ownership and back then it was lovely but now it's vibrant,...

This is a country house hotel par excellence. Roaring log fires, comfy sofas huge well tended grounds and excellent service- and thats before we get to the food! This is our 3rd Pig and we've enjoyed them all. We started with Piggy bits. They were great and very tasty. Main courses were good. Tobacco onions and chips very tasty accompaniments...

The Pig is truly a great restaurant in a stunning location. The staff were amazing from start to finish and the food is, in our opinion, of Michelin Star quality! We both opted for starter and main and found that the variety on offer was perfect for most peoples tastes. We both had duck as a main and can safely...

Hard to believe that a place in the middle of no where was sooo busy for dinner! But I after we went and try it definitely not surprised anymore! I absolutely loved the place, the vibe, the food (excellent) and the service super efficient and friendly! Mention when is your birthday and they will treat you a few little cakes....

I couldn't really fault lunch for three at The Pig. The location, although off the beaten track, is beautiful and so rural. The food was delicious and the menu offers a delightful and exciting choice for large or small appetites. Well prepared and wello presented with well-trained and courteous staff who seemed to know just what they are dong. So...

We have just had a truly amazing Sunday lunch, with all "the trimmings!".. Having stayed many times at the hotel, whilst managed by the previous owners, we were interested to see how the new management had taken the business forwards... ....and taken it forwards they have in buckets. There is an air of expensive informality, which can only be achieved...

You can't fail to be impressed by the drive up to the main house. A beautiful crunchy gravel drive leads you past fields of pheasants and grazing Arabian horses from the next door stud farm. Our room (18) had doors directly onto the garden and converted folly and was extremely convenient for us as we were staying with a very...

My son took me to the Pig as a treat for my birthday in March. The setting is stunning and you really do feel a bit special as you roll up the gravel drive. I was impressed by the somewhat vintage yet quirky style of decor as well as the retained period features, and hoped that the food was going...
