Spent 2 nights here with my sister and my dog and have never felt so comfortable!! My dog was very welcome and all staff love to hand out doggie treats (with your permission)! The hotel is clearly very popular but is in a beautiful cove and so peaceful, it is spotless, the food in the restaurant was really good, our...

Wonderful location at the mouth of the Cove where you watch the tide come in, or go out, as you sip your wine or enjoy an exquisite menu. Wonderfully traditional pub (with rooms) - open fire, slate floors, dark wood bar and although such an old building it is spotless, neat, clean and tidy - enjoy sitting by the open...

Fabulous view over the harbour and the tables out the front are a sun trap. Light lunch but delicious and good service, generous portion size too. Lovely old inn that kept its character whilst still offering a modern menu.

Stayed for one night very near Port Isaac. Very nice room dinner was good as well as breakfast. The only negative I came down to settle my bill at 8.30 only to be told check out is at 9.30. Luckily I was not in a rush but if I was why is this not indicated. That was the only blemish...

We stayed one night at the hotel. Rooms bit pricey but very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The theme is fish and maritime so lots of interesting things around the hotel. Very homely feel to the place. What was really special was the chef. The food is absolutely wonderful. Being vegetarian it is not often I...

After months of builders in the house, annon and spouse decided to push on down to Cornwall, to this little bit of a heaven for a few days. Now dear reader, if you want surf boards, eateries, funky music and crowds, forget this place. This is Heaven. A small intimate hotel/pub/restaurant on it's own in the tiny Port Gaverne cove....

We went with my in laws for an 80th birthday lunch. Very relaxed atmosphere, with helpful, pleasant staff. The food was delicious, served hot and you have to make room for the desserts, they are just amazing. Will definitely visit again.

Really enjoyed a crab sandwich whilst other members had soup and pasta. Great pub, fantastic friendly staff. Good food and a great selection of beers. Nice tables just outside the pub or opposite in the garden, with great views over the harbour.

Have been to the Port Gaverne Hotel previously. It's just a very comfortable pub with good accommodation in a great location & very dog friendly. We stayed a couple of weeks over February & March, there were a couple of issues having booked a King Size room & ended up in a double (being 6' 5" a King Size bed...
