Sooo dog friendly, rooms have little welcome pack for your dog. Dog treats and welcome note to say that at breakfast they provide a sausage for the dog. Rooms were spotless, location beautiful Norfolk coast, staff very helpful. So cosy in Winter as real fires in all bars and lounges. Best breakfast ever. Bar meals lovely.

First visit to wells and can't wait to go again. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and so were the staff. A great place to stay, not far to walk to the main shops and quay. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meals are all home cooked and great value for money. The bar was great with the...

I've jjust returned from a wonderful winter visit to the pretty coastal town of Wells-Next-the-Sea, Norfolk where I stayed at the Lifeboat Inn, run by the welcoming Sue and Carsten. The charming top floor room was clean and comfortable -- indeed, I looked forward to snuggling into bed after a day spent on coastal walks in the fresh air. Sue's...

We stayed here in October for 3 nights as a central base for walking the Norfolk coastal path. The twin room was comfortable and clean and the en suite facilities unremarkable but fine. The owner, Carsten, lifts the Lifeboat from a perfectly adequate Inn to a good one. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was great fun...

Stayed here on business 5th October 2016. Could not fault the place, Carsten ( owner ) was so welcoming could not do enough for me. Beer and the crack at the bar was good, with great service from the irish bartender with the unusual name ( sorry cannot remember it :-) ) The room had twin beds and was so...

Having read some good reviews on the lifeboat we thought we would give it a try. We were on a weekend end break and visiting the area. We asked about the Sunday roast and also did the veggie option contain nuts,as my brother is have treatment for cancer and has to avoid nuts at present. The young guy with a...

See Lifeboat B&B also for a review. The pub offers several vegetarian selections. The others offerings are great as well. Live entertainment nightly it seems. We caught live music and a quiz night. At quiz night there was a piano player cranking out some good songs on the upright open to all to play.

We went there on a Tuesday night for the Open Mic. We had a meal, both having one of the specials, ribs, chips & salad. The meal was very nice & the service was very good, with nothing being to much trouble. The beer was also very good with a nice selection of real ales. The music was nice, with...

We had a great two night stay in August, our family of five had an ensuite double room with an adjoining room with two single beds for the kids. The food is delicious (we chose dishes reflecting Carsten's Danish background) and we enjoyed a couple of drinks in our room while the kids slept listening to the music from the...
