Took friends there for lunch as a thank you for their help. All pretty ordinary when you consider the price. I think that the hotel relies very much on its position and is still trying to live on past memories.

We came to Blakeney for two nights at half term. We loved the scenery and beaches. The hotel was lovely but we all had a sick bug so sharing a room was less than ideal. It's an expensive hotel and so sharing with kids (truckles on floor no room divider) felt frustrating (£295pn plus £25 for kids inc breakfast and...

Booked for our Wedding Anniversary as a treat. The room overlooking the Estuary was quite small, considering the price. We had informed them of food intolerances weeks ago and all seemed well. On arrival, my husband enquired about the evening meal and was advised to speak to the chef later. My fears were realised, the chef was intending to adapt...

It would be OK if the price was significantly lower, but for £300/night we got: - unbalanced dinner - no vegetables (ignoring a few leaves that were nothing more than a garnish). The 'cold supper' when had ordered in advance due to arriving after the restaurant closed was just a fancy version of bread and cheese. - large and comfortable...

Lovely few days at the Blakeney Hotel. Staff are really excellent - warm, friendly and efficient and very keen that guests are comfortable. The hotel itself is very elegant. I particularly liked the large yacht model in the downstairs lounge and the view from the upstairs lounge is amazing. Will be back soon.

We have been lucky enough to have visited The Blakeney Hotel for many years and have never had a less than excellent stay. This time was as relaxing as ever, hassle free in this charming old hotel set in its unique setting on the salt marshes of North Norfolk. Our meals were as usual keenly anticipated and did not disappoint;...

Stayed at the Blakeney Hotel for a Friday/Saturday weekend. This is by no means a cheap hotel but what you get is still value for money. The rooms are luxuriously appointed, ours was on the 1st floor and had a large comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom, and a large sitting area with opulent furniture. The Hotel was tastefully decorated and seemed...

A birthday treat and found a b.day card and some truffles in our room. The staff are great and can't do enough for you. Food choice and quality excellent.BUT they need new beds. When paying their prices you expect better than what felt an old worn out bed. The views are brilliant and to sit with a drink overlooking the...

An extended family group of 14 for a long weekend break was a delight. As an ex professional chef of 50+ years my main focus is food and drink. Overall the food was excellent. My only criticism was of the vegetarian roast pepper with Provencal veg (I usually try a veg option during a stay as I think it gives...

Another great Bite with a view Over the marshes towards the North Sea. I always go for the sea food plater as I love potted shrimps as well as the salmon etc + delicious basket of bread. The coronation chicken sandweges are crammed full.
