We stayed here for a quiet romantic stay in Seaham especially so that my wife could collect seaglass over Valentines weekend. We have visited Seaham before but had previously had a nosey outside this impressive Guesthouse right on the beach front and wanted to stay here. Open fires and amazing views were what drew us to this guest house. However...

This was my second visit to Seaham having last time stayed at the wonderful cottage with my husband. This time I brought my mother and her friend to stay at the guesthouse. They were both so impressed by the warmth of our hosts and their impeccable attention to detail. Each day we came home from wet and wild sea-glass adventures...

Thank you for this lovely review. You certainly were the hardiest Seaglass hunters. The weather was truly horrible and it did not stop you all. Thanks for staying with us.

This is our second time at St Cuthberts Cottage and just like to first time it was wonderful. Four of us stayed over the Christmas period and just like the first time it was very sad to have to leave. Every positive comment/review about the cottage is true, as soon as you get there the atmosphere envelops you and gives...

I grew up in Seaham (now living in Oxfordshire) and came 'home' to get married. We stayed for the weekend in the Cottage along with our 2 daughters and 2 dogs! The location brought back childhood memories of playing in the park and the stream behind the house. The Cottage is immaculate! Beautifully decorated and the 2 wood burning fires...

We enjoyed our stay at Eastshaw Guesthouse. Jules and Mick are great hosts. We felt well taken from the first second until departure. The rooms are nicely equipped and clean. The breakfast is excellent. A great choice for breakfast with home made buns.

We spent a few days break with our daughter and son in law from Australia visiting relatives (Nans 90th birthday) and sightseeing. Mick and Jules are very accommodating and friendly hosts where nothing is too much trouble. Nan ended up in hospital (all ok now) but late notice for an early breakfast on the last day so Jude and Alan...
