We went to The Orange Tree for dinner while staying in Kirkby Lonsdale. We were very happy with the food and service. It had all clearly been homemade and was of freshly cooked. Our word of warning is that the portion sizes are big, so try not to over order as we did, a starter may not be necessary!

We popped in for lunch and the staff were plesent and helpful. We had a 3 and 5 year old and they had good choice. One had fish and chips with lovely quality fish and the other had sausage, egg and chips. The egg was forgotten but the waitress was quick on spitting it and sorting it. The selection of... More

Called in here for a quick lunch in-between walking. Nice friendly place and cosy. Good place to chill out and dog friendly which always gets our vote. Would recommend to friends/family and will return.

My wife and I called in last weekend while in Kirkby Lonsdale and had an excellent meal. Plenty of choice from the menu and a lovely friendly atmosphere. Also the allow dogs in the bar area so our pooch could come and sit with us instead of being shut away in the car

We have stayed here many many times and each time we enjoy it more and more. We have never had a bad meal or breakfast and the staff are really welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and great value for money. We are returning again this weekend and cant wait.

We loved our stay. Made to feel completely at home by the very friendly staff (especially Henry and Tom). The atmosphere in the pub restaurant is fabulous. When it came to leaving we wished we could have stayed for a few more days. We'll be back!

Pub / hotel near the centre of town, large bedroom and good bathroom. Traditional bar with decent cask ales (happy hour 7-9). The evening meal was overflowing the plate and every table was busy, breakfast also excellent. The owner and staff were very friendly, probably the best pub in town.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at nearby Underley Grange. The room was lovely and very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped too. The food is excellent and the lunch we had was outstanding. The staff are also lovely and a special mention for Jack who is a great guy and went out of his way... More
