My room was pleasant, a good size and had the usual facilities except for a shower. There was a shower head attachment in the bath and for a short stay this was fine, however if you're staying longer make sure you ask for a room with a shower. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the selection was...

Just had one of the best 3 course meals I've ever had. The food was well prepared, cooked with lots of thought, well seasoned and all the different flavours came out and worked perfectly together. Main course that I had was mackerel with sticky rice and a Tia curry, the flavours complemented each other perfectly. There was 4 of us having...

We called there last night just on the off chance of getting a table for something to eat. The staff were so helpful and very friendly, we asked to sit in the bar to eat, which was fine and I can tell you the food was absolutely fantastic. I have passed this place so many times and not gone in...

With the backdrop of the Yorkshire Dales you would be hard pushed to find somewhere more pleasant to stay. The Inn has been modernised well without losing old world charm. Rooms were clean and homely, food delicious and all who worked there were friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one.

Visited in March for a short break hoping to do some hill walking. Charming room with good view. Tablet sized TV in room. Single glazed draughty sash window and no heating in the bathroom did not encourage one to linger. Good breakfast menu. Better on the second morning when regular staff returned!

We arrived and were shown to our rooms which were clean tidy and comfortable. A traditional Inn Breakfast was tasty with great service. There is a full evening menu if you want to dine in. Set in a good location to explore the lake district and the Yorkshire dales. Would stay here again. Booking was through travel Zoo Only wish...

We stayed here for 1 night after visiting Ingleton Waterfalls. We were immediately made welcome upon checking in and enjoyed a drink in the bar before dinner in the dining room. The monkfish tail is recommended! The selection of gin is fabulous too! Breakfast was splendid, can recommend the porridge and full English! Rooms are off a high standard and...

We stayed elsewhere although I think if we visit again, this place would be a good choice! Every course was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. the best 'pub' meal I've had for sure and up there with the fine dining places I've been too. Friendly staff, good service, cosy bar. Will be back for sure!

Came early sunday afternoon with family, had 3 courses for £22.95. One of the best roast dinner we have ever had. Attention to detail on all aspects of the food like cooking the cabbage in Chinese 5 spice or seasoning the roast potatoes to perfection, alongside being ridiculous value for money. Will come 100% recommend and can't wait to come...

A wonderful short stay . We cannot recommend The Pheasant enough. From our welcome to departure we were treated to excellent customer service throughout from every member of staff (our dripping coats were even dried for us). The rooms were well appointed and the bar was cosy. The menu was wide ranging and the food was AMAZING and of an...
