lovely bed, gorgeous sheets, a really good night's sleep as a result. We arrived very late but still received a warm welcome. The breakfast was great with about 5 different kinds of dried fruit to put on our muesli.

The hotel was of Average quality. It was clean and the staff were friendly. It was useful being so close to the shops and train station but this had the disadvantage of being noisy. The wi-fi was also unavailable while in the room.

We stayed for one night in February. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive. The dinner and the breakfast were excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at other hotels in this group and they have been 5 star all the way, it seems coaching inn group only took over in oct 16 and the hotel is due for refurbishment in May 2017 and wow does it need it. The hotel is quite run down and feels 2 star, cold and dirty. We tried...

We had a good stay. There were lovely touches to the rooms however the decor is tired but is being refurbished in May. It's clean though which is important. The staff, especially Louise, were really helpful and we had a great stay.

It is what it is, they are totally open that the hotel needs updating and they are doing that in May. But although tired the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The outstanding feature for us though was the amazing customer service and in particular Louise who could not do enough for us, was extremely friendly and professional, and...

Previous stays have been an absolute pleasure but the whole place was different this time with a change in staff it felt cold and lacked the previous quality. A menu should be an illustration of the range of foods available at all times, the beer was the same as I had drunk before but this time flat and incorrectly kept....

A party of 18 friends for lunch. Booking it was easy/ On arrival staff were helpful and friendly. Pleasant dining room overlooking the historic High Street. Attentive service and nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. We all enjoyed the food which was keenly priced with good quality ingredients. Based on our experience on January 28th we would...

Pleasant stay. Decor of the rooms is like going back in time to 1970 but it doesn't matter that much if you realise how clean the room actually is! Housekeeping doing a very good job! Nice kept real ales in the bar with a nice selection of them. Menu is interesting and everyone would find something to their taste. Nice...

Lady behind the bar saw we were taking it in turns to hold our six month old, and kindly stopped her work for a while and held him while we ate. He was happy, we were happy! Service far beyond what I would normally expect. Enjoyed food as well. Second visit for us, always nice to stop off in Hungerford,...
