The hotel is well located in the centre of old Fribourg, lovely cobbled street, charming buildings. The cathedral is impressive but bear in mind that it chimes though the night so if you're a very light sleeper take earplugs. The room where I stayed on the 4th floor was tiny, one single bed and a very small bathroom with shower...

Stayed two nights in March, 2017, room at the front of the hotel. We reserved a large "triple" room (worth the extra cost) which, after we folded up the extra bed, gave us a roomy place. Right on the street, but not noisy. Clean, very good service at the front desk, especially from the dark-skinned young lady. Several fine restaurants...

We stayed three nights as a base to see Fribourg, Gruyeres etc. It's a nice hotel, more like a big guesthouse really. The rooms are clean, reasonably well equipped and have recently been refurbished. The location is ok, just outside the centre so it's a short walk or bus trip to the centre and station. There is no bar just...

the view it just in front of the cathedral of Fribourg. the breakfast it's a real swiss breakfast with amazing croissant and confiture, I mean marmalade. the price for switzerland is very cheap. Oh and they sell a daily card for the parking valid in all the outside park place in Fribourg, because the hotel doesn't have park place inside,...

Greeted cheerfully by the receptionist. I had just walked from the station about ten minutes away in the rain. I was early but my room was ready so I was able to check in an go and get warm and dry. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The Rose-hip tea was delicious and a good antidote to the...

We booked a double roomin June for a very competative rate for Switzerland at £89 per night. Hotel is about 5 minutes taxi ride from the station, which is on the mail line from Geneva to Zurich, roughly half way between the two. It is close to the cathedral and several eating places. The hotel was very clean and the...

This claimed to be a 4 star hotel. Would that be because of not having a bar or restaurant? Or because my "superior" room looks and feels like a tiny dorm room? Or because they don't supply the little niceties like a pen to jot down some information? Or because it's such a small room there is no place to...

I stayed at the hotel for one night whilst on a business trip. This was my visit to Fribourg and I found the staff were very helpful in giving some assistance on what to see in the area. Its location was right in the center of Fribourg and around a 20 minute walk from the main railway station. The rooms...

I've been in this hotel for just one night. I found it nice, with clean rooms. The concierge is open up to 10 pm. It's plenty of restaurants and bars all around and it's near the Tower Bell (maybe too near), which beats the clock every 15 minutes. Maybe this is the reason why I found a pack of earplugs...
