We booked a standard room on half board direct with the hotel, as we had gathered from other reviews that this is the best (only?) place to eat in La Orotava in the evenings. It is a lovely building, the courtyard downstairs makes an excellent lounge and dining area, really atmospheric. The room was not large but was well equipped...

This is a charming Canairan hotel with stunning views from the roof. The food was excellant and the staff in all departments could not have been more helpful. Should you travell here for the first time and be driving a car. Car parking spaces are at a priemiam. La Orativia is a very beautiful place don't forget your camera or...

Ate four dinners in the restaurant last year and were so impressed with the quality of food, service and ambiance we resolved to stay in the hotel this year. We were definitely not disappointed. We booked a superior room and were shown to a charming set up with a large separate and private furnished terrace with plants in pots, separate...

I have stayed in Hotel Rural Victoria twice and will be visiting the restaurant again this spring. Lovely rooms, comfortable beds and the food was just as good as the IVY in London. Small friendly Hotel just miles from the usual catering for the masses. It is situated perfectly to enjoy La Orotava and all the little shops in this...

This was our second stay at this hotel with a gap of four years and very pleased we came back for more! Our main contact was with Miguel who dealt with our booking in, bar service and sommelier and waiting service in the restaurant. He is an exceptional professional in his chosen field of work. The gin and tonic that...

The Lonely Planet did not do this place justice! Leading off a cobble street lit by golden street lamps, you will be surprised as you enter this place! The entrance opens into a beautifully decorated courtyard of the type you will have seen in the grand Canarian casa mansions. The restaurant sits in this traditional courtyard so you can look...

This is a very atmospheric and authentic hotel in the lovely town of La Orotava. Accommodation is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is basic as mentioned by some other contributors. What makes this place special for me however is the food served up in the evenings (I didn't sample the lunch menu but it seems excellent value) by the chef Richard...

The hotel is A restored historic building in the old part of Orotava, cobbled streets, ancient buildings and suitable for a pleasant amble with cafés and bars to while away the time. The room was large and faced the coast, though we could not actually see the sea, and was clean and comfortable. There was some noise from the kitchen...

We really enjoyed our 2 day stay here because the staff were so kind. The hotel is a beautiful old townhouse, therefore not super lux but clean, spacious and comfortable and much more interesting than a new build. We had a Superior Room on the street side, slightly noisy early on, but quiet after dinner and we slept very well....

Located conveniently in the centre of historic La Orotava we thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at this lovely hotel. Our room situated on the roof terrace meant we had a very quiet location plus somewhere to sit when we returned from our excursions. The room itself whilst not over large was perfectly adequate, comfortable and spotlessly clean as was the...
