Loved every moment of our 3 night stay. Ian and Jane are the perfect hosts, can't do enough for you, even providing beach towels and a packed lunch for our onward journey. Beds are comfortable, and, after a few drinks and tapas in the nearby bars, a good nights' sleep. I can't praise this place enough. A real gem not...

So close to the Balcon and other restaurants. Splendid service and advice about the area. Very helpful with parking facilities which saved a lot of money, Room & en suite spotless and more than wlecoming. My extra is that I left a nightdress and when I called to collect it about 3 days later, it had been laundered and ready...

Just a one night stay, but it felt like we had actually been on vacation. The room 201 was perfect. Situated at the back of the house and therefore no street noise, it was just great after a night bar hopping and making new friends. (folk in Nerja a very sociable it seems) The double bed was extremely comfortable. The...

I had a 3 night stay at Pension Miguel in April and enjoyed it immensely. I have been before and I am never disappointed with Ian and Jane's outstanding hospitality. I was with 4 friends and we had a room each. All of us were delighted and we will be returning at the earliest opportunity

Pension M, Owner at Hostal Miguel, responded to this review

Firstly, I thank Monique for taking the trouble and considerable amount of time to write this review, I am always disappointed when guests do not enjoy the experience of Pension Miguel. Some of the criticisms do not, I feel, warrant a response as they are beyond my control however:- I would like to state that not only did I carry...

Cant say enough good things about staying here! Ian and Jane are so kind and considerate. Ian's helpful information about the area was great; because we mentioned we loved the smell of hyacinths in Spring, a pot of hyacinths was put in our room. We were there a week and found the room to be more than comfortable and we...

Couldn't resist another visit to this charming establishment. Right in the heart of Nerja, it's an ideal place to spend a few days. It's close to bars, restaurants and beautiful beaches. Jane and Ian are superb hosts, we were travelling around and they provided so much useful information, even a packed lunch for our onward journey. Nothing is too much...

Jane and Ian are very welcoming hosts of this pension. Ian oriented me to the town basics and gathered up a beach towel and sunblock for me to take to the beach. Great little rooftop deck for breakfast. Convenient to everything and very clean! Definitely recommend!

We stayed here three years ago, and we were lucky enough to be able to return! The English owners of this pension are wonderful; they are always full of advice, always helpful, and will look after you as if you were family. The pension itself is very simple, and full of homey touches without being over-decorated. The rooms are all...

Stayed for four nights early October. Great location, comfortable accommodation, we had a quiet room at the rear (by request). Excellent breakfast taken on the roof terrace, lots of choice. Jane and Ian are perfect hosts, all you need to do is ask, nothing is too much trouble for them. Highly recommended.
