Quite a modern parador but very stylish and tasteful, filled with the usual amenities and with some very nice employees. The rooms also have a modern vibe and the breakfast was great as per usual in these hotels. There is also plenty of parking available and it is easy to find your way there from anywhere in Antequera.

I wrote a review of this Parador 2 years ago but have recently revisited. Since my review, the entire place has been renovated and is a lovely, delightful place to stay. It is modern, so if you want history and historical ambiance, this is not the place. Parking is free and convenient. Ask for a room with a view of... More

This hotel marries the old and new in a perfect harmony. We enjoyed both the hospitality and the warm friendly service by the staff. They were attentive and met all of our needs. We asked for a recommendation for our dinner and they sent us for short a walk to the bull ring. It was within 5 minutes and we... More

A very welcoming greeting to two exhausted aussie motorcycle riders. Beautiful room. Superb dinner. Great wine. Fabulous breakfast. Friendly wait staff. Million dollar countryside views. Pool perfect. A super easy walk to town through the park for a sunset stroll. Parking safe. Only quirk? Air conditioning not on, so the bathroom was seriously steamy.

Room and amenities were all fine and I think worth the extra cost for Paradors. We returned for lunch a few days after our stay and were really well looked after. Would recommend for a stay in a real Spanish town

This place is a complete surprise, being very modern - paradores are usually associated with old buildings. Our room was large and overlooked the pool. The bathroom was very nice and had a range of lovely toiletries. We were able to sleep with the window open as it's like being in the middle of the country here. We didn't eat... More

This is a relatively new and well appointed Parador about 45 kilometres from Malaga. It has a medium sized pool and excellent views across the countryside. The food and service were better than at many Paradors, at a reasonable price. Well recommended if you are in the area.

Visited October 2015, air con off, too hot, very noisy due to car park for bull ring adjacent used by youths with noisy cars and even noisier sound systems. Staff appalling, food mediocre. Really disappointed as other Paradores have been great.

We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at this well run, modern Parador which in our opinion stood out from others that we had experienced in the Parador chain on our two-month Iberian road trip. We appreciated the professionalism and service orientation of its staff, the cleanliness and overall standard of our accommodation and facilities (great pool!), and the excellent dinner... More

Our room was large and overlooked the pool and had mountain views. The whole hotel was peaceful and had a very relaxing atmosphere. The views from the restaurant were amazing and breakfast there was very good. Pool was lovely and I was usually the only one in it, appeared to be a quiet time of year. Easy walk to the... More
