We travelled with Newmarket Holidays. We chose this hotel over Hotel Antequera as it's location was better for walking into town and they had twin rooms available for sole use.Have to sit in lobby to get the wifi. Rooms decent size. Breakfasts just adequate (cordial instead of orange juice). BUT be warned - if you have a problem the hotel...

Antequera made for an ideal mid point to visit Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Ronda and we really enjoyed our trip with New Market Holidays - but the hotel needs investment and better management, despite the best efforts of a very small number of well meaning staff, the lights on the 3 Stars of this hotel went out some years ago....

Hotel is a good three star, location is ideal as there is some parking in grounds and also around hotel, It is an easy walk to town centre. I am surprised by other reviews of this hotel, I found it good value for money.

We booked the Classic Spain Escorted holiday with Newmarket and they booked our party into this hotel for just under a week. The room was clean but a bit sad and tired. When you opened the cupboard to get to the fridge the door scrapped long the floor. We arrived in the early afternoon so decided to eat in the...

Booked in for 6 nights by NEWMARKET Holidays. Aside of it's location in the beautiful medieval town Antequera ..... there is no really plus side to this hotel. Nothing works, the staff is ignorant and unwilling to deal with simple maintenance issues. Only reception staff speaks some English. The food is poor at breakfast time [half baked rolls and defrosted...

OMG, don't go there, its by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Travelled with Newmarket Holidays, the disturbance during the night was horrendous, party concluded at 7.30 am, yes in the morning, no sleep at all, rep did nothing other than report to Head Office. Just had a reply to our complaint and basically they have no...

This is a good hotel as a base to explore Antequera and El Torcal. The parking is very convenient. The bar is friendly. Rooms have gentle air conditioning and smart bathrooms. Excellent lift. We also liked the views from the roof terrace.

This was just an overnight stay. The hotel is centrally located, and beautifully clean. We enjoyed the views from the roof terrace, from where you can see the famous feature, the Indian Head. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace outside the hotel. Very nice.

Went with Newmarket Holidays on Classic Spain trip and choose this hotel as other option fully booked. Whilst this hotel is in a better location it's not one I would choose again, mainly because of the food. The room was basic, clean and bathroom looked fairly new , however the shower head wouldn't stay upright so had to be hand...
