I guess we enjoyed the hotel more than some of the other reviewers. And we were there in mid October in the off season. We loved the location. Easy parking and a great view of the beach and city. Yes, the lobby is a little stark but who's looking at the lobby when there is such a great view outside....

We spent three days at the Miramar Sul and found little to recommend. First, it is pretty far from Nazare and at the end of a narrow, unattractive road. The lobby is best described as stark – large, cold, colorless and uninviting. The room did have a nice view of the harbor and was generally comfortable but, although the hotel...

We went to Nazare for only one night. Contrary to some other reviewers, we found that the staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. So we had a sea view room that was clean, modern but very basic. The breakfast was a bit bland. The location is a bit remote, but the hotel has a free shuttle to a...

Could be good but spoilt by some basic things. Firstly an extremely severe and unfriendly woman on reception some days makes you feel she is doing you a favour if you ask her anything. The rooms are fine BUT only if you don't mind sleeping on a bed with what appears to be a rubber /plastic underlay ,,,,, crackly and...

from a "4 Star Hotel" (price!!) I expect a more of everything. Breakfeast diversity changes between weekend and during the week. I really do not understand why. I have paid the same price so I want each day the same breakfast diversity.

Nice and modern , fancy appearance on pictures and from far. Very decentral location but splendid view on bay of Nazaré. No properly finishing of the building, poor equipment and furniture qualitly at all levels, off resulting in broken tiles and paths, swimming pool, bathroom equipment, leaking drainage of upper terrasse... Most of all, unpersonnal unfriendly sercice at the reception...

If a developer decided to maximise a market opportunity, he might decide to build in an out-of-the-way spot, accessed through grotty side roads bordered by spoiled land, and build without properly finishing off resulting in broken tiles and paths, swimming pool ladders that are falling over, bathroom fittings that shake and fence-less boundaries on to dangerous neighbouring land. Yes it's...

Nice hotel. Some parking available. Kinda far away from town. Its not like you can walk into town. You are on a cliff, overlooking the town and beach in Nazare. The view is amazing. The room is wonderful. We had 3 and were in room 310, a corner room, which was amazing. Big room, fantastic balcony. Free Wifi. DO NOT...

This hotel is great value as with most hotels in the area, the pool area is great with spectacular views especially at sunset. We arrived late in the evening and hadn't realised how far the hotel was from the centre as we didn't have a car, the receptionist that greeted us wasn't very helpful and told us that if we...
