We went to the Bloomfield House Hotel for a little family break. We found the hotel to very relaxing and family friendly. Plenty of seating areas with comfortable settees and roaring fires. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is excellent.

A note of appreciation to Roisin and head chef Roger who served a long queue on a busy paddy's day with patience. They had run out of endless dishes which was disappointing but they adapted very quickly. Our little boy wanted a bread roll and they had run out too....but Roisin appeared at our table with a freshly baked roll...

A genuinely warm welcome awaits at reception. First impressions are lasting and indeed the excellent customer service continued throughout our stay. Our room was 421 so highly recommend as it's a view over Lough Ennel. We were blessed with fab weather this past weekend and witnessed an amazing sunset on Sat. Had Sunday lunch with the family and had a good selection of food. 3 of us had the beef which a little tough and the Yorkshire pudding was very powdery. The turkey was however very nice and the kids had a sausage and chips and chicken nuggets and chips which were good. However at 1pm there were no deserts left...

Stayed here with my family at the weekend and we had a fab time. Fab food, fab pool, staff were fab. Would definitely stay here yet again. There was also a wedding on but that didn't seem to infringe on us in any way. Breakfast was great also. Plenty for the kids to choose from especially the chocolate nibbles.

The facilities were fab and we enjoyed the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We then went up to our room which was not amazing decor wise but it was a nice, big room...

We stayed here recently to celebrate a special occasion. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly & helpful receptionist staff. The room that we were initially assigned was located right next to the elevator. It was a fabulous room, really nicely decorated and in pristine condition. We asked to move purely because the elevator could be heard through the wall...

We stayed here last week-end. (18th-20th of February 2017) On arrival we were met by friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. They said we were staying in the presidential suite and in thought i had heard wrong!! They had upgraded us for my birthday. We had an amazing room with beautiful views of the lake and the surroundings...
