We spent two nights at the Strandhill Lodge and would love to return. The room was large with an A+ view out across the water. The room was clean and they have a great selection for breakfast. It's also an easy walk to the village down the hill. My only complaint and it's a small one is the Wi-Fi was...

My first time to stay here but certainly won't be the last. We had a suite which is a fantastic size and had a balcony which was super. The staff were so friendly and courteous and couldn't do enough to make our stay a very enjoyable experience. The broadband was also terrific in an area which proves to get any...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it didn't disappoint. Service was excellent. Free tea& coffee all day. iPod Dock in the room, great views of the beach. Staff were v helpful and breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend to stay here and located in a lovely area.

From the moment we were welcomed to this fabulous hotel we knew we would enjoy our stay. The manager that greeted us was friendly and professional and provided lots of info on the beautiful village of Strandhill and surrounding attractions. Called to view this relatively new accommodation. A very pleasant young lady showed us a fabulous double room with Balcony and an amazing view. We also viewed the Apartment which had added sitting room. The breakfast is included in the room rate, it us a continental breakfast not the usual irish cooked breakfast. We spent 5 fantastic nights here in July and stayed in a suite (my husband, 2 year old and myself). The suite is so spacious and ideal for families or groups. Stayed in Strandhill end of June for 3 days over a weekend. The hotel is very comfortable and modern. We had breakfast in the hotel and evening meals we ate out in super restaurants close by. Played golf during day at the most splendid courses close by including Sligo.

Had an amazing time here. Strandhill has some amazing views, all of which we got to enjoy from the balcony of our room. Staff were very kind and helpful, even carried my bag to the room! Within walking distance of everything in the town, very glad we stayed :)

Here in July, as we were travelling the west coast of Ireland. Sligo was are first stop and using tripadvisor I suggested we stay here. We arrived and the manager was very informative. Rooms we standard and very clean, also equipped we espresso machine, fridge, tv and fan. It was a bit of a walk to the beach but shops...

We stayed here on July 1-2, 2015. This was a great and cost-effective stop during our tour of Ireland to see the sites and to play golf. We highly recommend the Strandhill lodge. Free parking! The location is terrific overlooking the sea. The lodge is quaint and awesome, with a few restaurants, a couple of pubs and a very nice...
