My boyfriend and I stayed at Down Yonder for two nights during September, and we couldn't recommend it more! We were warmly greeted by Eavan, the owner, with tea & cake in the drawing room. The drawing room and entrance hall are beautifully decorated, at a much higher standard than any other B&B we have stayed in before! Nothing bad...

This is a beautiful B&B in gorgeous countryside. Though more expensive than others we looked at in the area, we thought it would be worth it to have the ‘Deluxe Double or Twin Room with Sea View’ which had been confirmed five months earlier on the booking site we used. We were so disappointed when we arrived to find that...

We spent two nights at Down Yonder and it was an awesome stay in all ways. The house is beautiful--you can tell everything in the home was well thought out for a guests comfort. Our room was spacious and spotless with a view out across the property. The Wi-Fi was strong in our upstairs room. The entire house is spotless,...

Beautiful castle-like home. We arrived late but were welcomed with courtesy by the owner. Our room was simply decorated but very comfortable. This is very much a personal family's home, with toys out in the backyard and framed photos in the halls. The grand entrance is spectacular. The owner recommended a fantastic seaside pub/restaurant down the street. We had a...

Stayed here for a night recently with the gf and we both were well impressed, although it really is quite expensive. The house is located up a small hill at the back of Rosses Point with beautiful views of Ben Bulbin. It is totally hidden from the rest of the neighbours by well planted trees and hedges and the house...

Was fortunate enough to book a room here, a triple! Was the perfect accommodation for a single traveling with a couple. Cannot even explain the feeling as you enter this exquisite home. Evane greeted us with her radiant smile and warm hospitality. Sat in the lovely living room where she served tea and homemade goodies and made the best suggestion...

Absolutely wonderful weekend at Down Yonder - very welcoming and the rooms are incredibly comfortable and perfectly furnished. The views are breathtaking, particularly in the stunning breakfast room. The local area is lovely and it's a 5 minute walk down the hill to Harry's bar which has the local craft beer on tap!

Stayed here for 1 night and felt very comfortable in a great big cosy bed :-) Great welcome and nice, natural attitude. Big room with small, clean, modern bathroom. Beautiful modern house with wooden floors and huge interior doors taken from an older one. Great attention to detail. Breakfast was very good, and a Nespresso machine ensured a decent cup(s)...

We were fortunate to stay in this stunning bed and breakfast for two nights, and loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect for those keen to get away from the city and tourist route, and for those seeking absolute peace and quiet of the tranquil countryside. The house is beautifully appointed - from the rooms, to the...
