We stayed here for two nights when visiting family in the region. What a great find, well located, great value and really friendly staff. At breakfast, the owner introduced himself and wished us well. You don't get that everywhere. The breakfast was the best Irish that we have ever had with freshly baked breads and a great cup of tea....

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff who were attentive and accommodating. The room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and the home made bread was so delicious that we brought some home. Great location and a bonus as parking on site and plenty on street parking is free. Will stay here again.

We stayed at Gleesons for one night in early Feb 2017. Our room was faultlessly clean, with high ceilings and spotless bathroom. We ate in the restaurant and were well looked after before having drinks in front of a lovely warm fire. Breakfast was again superb & we were joined in conversation by our host for a few minutes. In my...

Heavy metal kitchen/back door loudly and frequently creaking and banging from 6.30am to 1am next day, 4hrs sleep per night. Excessive mould growing on walls and ceiling of unheated en-suite. Too many dead bugs in the light fittings. First batch of towels looked grubby. Some electrical sockets worked, others did not. Had to ask for chair in room. Staff pleasant,...

My wife and I visited again (our first time was October last) ... The staff are always very friendly and my wife and I simply requested the same room as before and we were delighted that this was available and without any fuss we were shown to our room on arrival. This alone makes our stay so special and the...

Dinner was fantastic, large portions of extremely well cooked food, dinner came to just under 70 for 2 with a drink and no dessert (couldn't have fit one in!)so decent...

We stopped by here for a late lunch and as per usual they never disappoint. It's been a few years since we've been here. My husband is a huge burger fan, and he said the one he had here was one of the best he's ever had. I had a simple chicken salad sandwich which was served with chips, side...
