We, as a family living in neighbouring counties, hosted a Clan Gathering event for 50+ overseas visitors just last week based at The Shirley Arms Hotel. We could not have asked more of the management and staff from the very inception of the event more than two years ago through our monthly meetings over the last year and finally for...

We stayed for 5 nights as part of a family reunion but the stand out thing for me was the staff. They were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Their help made our whole stay so much easier and I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic.

We came across this lovely little hotel quite by accident on our way home from a short stay in Dublin. I am so glad we decided to deviate from the normal route home. Even though we spent only one night here it made such an impression that we plan to revisit, just my wife and I, this time, for possibly...

This was a delightful hotel. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The food was also very good. Be careful of the parking. Do not park out front for very long. They have a traffic warden that patrols with regularity so check in and move your car to the back lot.

We stayed here for one night after attending a party. Menu has a good verity of options, food was wholesome and hot. Rooms are modern, clean and a nice size. Staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, well done. We would stay here again and would have no hesitation at recommending this hotel

Make no mistake Shirley Arms is a good 4* with nice big rooms, a good sized safe, hairdryer, ironing board, really good quality toiletries and a kettle with a generous supply of tea and coffee. Despite being a very busy...

Small non chain hotel. Very comfy. Charming staff. Tasty food. Right in town centre with ample parking and a stroll to pubs and restaurants. Top tip. Ask for a 2nd floor room in modern part to reduce noise disturbance.

Stayed 6 nights in this hotel, beautiful rooms, newly decorated and all mod cons. It was a little cold during the night. Dinner in restaurant and lunch in lounge was great. Very good food. Highly recommend this hotel and we'll be back.

Went here today as food normally good. Didnt go to restaurant as just wanted a main course. Not a fan of carvery so took a seat in lounge and expected to be able to order from there as we had before. Waitress explained it was either carvery or we could order off restaurant menu which was more expensive. We decided...
