Since the town was by-passed, I rarely veer off the N2 when going to / coming from Dublin. Decided to make a stop this time as a change from the usual stops looking for some food and a wee rest. The Shirley Arms, while very busy on this Saturday evening, provided a comfortable, clean and relaxing short stop. Seriously, the...

I have visited the Shirley Arms on a couple of occasions over the last few months. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. The food is very tasty and satisfying, restaurant style food in the relaxed surroundings of the bar. Well worth a visit

Myself & my brother called in to have a bite to eat on the 21st before heading to Rihannas concert. As I'm both gluten & dairy intolerant, i find it hard to order from a menu and find something nice. Once I had explained my intolerances to our lovely server Caroline, she immediately brought me over another menu and stayed...

I personally did not stay here but several of my Muldoon cousins did as well as some of my immediate family. I did however see a few rooms of my family. All were clean and spacious. My family had only great things to say about their stay. While attending the reunion I did experience the great staff and food. Job...

We, as a family living in neighbouring counties, hosted a Clan Gathering event for 50+ overseas visitors just last week based at The Shirley Arms Hotel. We could not have asked more of the management and staff from the very inception of the event more than two years ago through our monthly meetings over the last year and finally for...

We stayed for 5 nights as part of a family reunion but the stand out thing for me was the staff. They were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Their help made our whole stay so much easier and I would definitely stay here again. Fantastic.

We came across this lovely little hotel quite by accident on our way home from a short stay in Dublin. I am so glad we decided to deviate from the normal route home. Even though we spent only one night here it made such an impression that we plan to revisit, just my wife and I, this time, for possibly...

This was a delightful hotel. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The food was also very good. Be careful of the parking. Do not park out front for very long. They have a traffic warden that patrols with regularity so check in and move your car to the back lot.
