I don't usually write reviews but this time I felt the the need to do so . Bert and his team where friendly, efficient and so on the ball I could not fault them .if you wanted something they didn't have they went and got . The rooms and food were all first class and served by professional and friendly people.... More

I have just returned home after a 3 day stay for my sisters wedding and I can hand on heart say it was one of the best stays I have had in an Irish hotel. From the time of arrival to check out we got the very best of service. Bart and his team were fantastic to say the least.... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night in April 2016, we had the twin room at the top of the hotel. The rooms are as described and very clean and very comfortable. The only fault we found though a very minor thing is that stars to the rooms are quite steep and its difficult carrying luggage to them. The... More

My Family and I always call into the Conyngham Arms every time we're passing through coming from the races. We always get a beautiful meal. The food is excellent. but a Receptionist called Tracy is even nicer. She is so helpful. I never met a nicer girl in a front desk in any other hotel and we go around alot... More

We were traveling in a group of 9, and each said they had a good experience. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the bathroom a wee bit small for this large man, but certainly adequate. The food was marvelous. Breakfast could be had on order, tho the typical food was laid out every morning, Scones with clotted cream was... More

Tried this due to its very reasonable price - €15 per adult (9.50 for a child we were told over the phone). The food was good, though the sandwiches were a bit dry, scones were great, and the sweet treats very sugary. The service was patchy. We did not receive our food together - each person waited five mins after... More

Stayed here after a wedding and had the worst sleep. The room was so noisy between the noise outside and the heavy banging doors within the hotel. At breakfast the tea was freezing cold, there was very little choice on the buffet table and when I explained to the server that I was coeliac she practically laughed at me as... More

We attended a wedding in the Conyngham Arms Hotel in June and we have nothing but praise for the management, the staff, the chef, and all involved in the preparation and delivery of a great day. The decor, room layout, menu, quality and presentation of the meal, bar service, late snacks etc. etc.....everything was perfect. There is a lovely garden... More

The food here was excellent! Really tasty dishes with lots of choice on the menu. However, the service was very slow. We waited ages to place an order and in the end went to the bar to request a waiter. later our waiter forgot to bring dessert menus and we had to ask to be served again. Little things were... More

This would have gotten a 4 from me had I gotten a room on the garden side of the hotel as our friends did. Instead, our room was overlooking the extremely busy Main Street where trucks were rattling by all night. No air conditioning so we had to keep the windows open and the hotel could not find a fan...
