Hostel with attached restaurant. The food was very good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and let us use the hotel laundry at no extra charge. The private room was nice for a hostel, but of course, lacked television.

Where do I begin to describe how wonderful this place is? Firstly, it is the best hostel I have ever been to. The rooms are so nice and clean, looks like a hotel room. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm a solo traveler and they were so kind and friendly, made me feel right at home. They told...

I had never been in Connemara and this place was a good location al least. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit small and the shower did't drain the water properly. Nice and tasty breakfast, welcome people and quite. We didn't enjoy the look from our window which actually looked on a quite mess garden but honestly it didn't...

Clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was near the restaurant so it was a little loud, but nothing ear plugs couldn't fix. Well worth the price. The food in the restaurant was really fantastic, we got breakfast and dinner there.

Three friends of mine adviced me to go in this place if I was going to Connemara national park. I listened to them and I wasn't disappointed at all ! The staff was very nice and we had a nice night in this hostel. Unfortunately, we didn't eat in their restaurant for dinner but we tried the breakfast which was...

Not a good nights sleep. Family (double +single) room was unwelcoming and expensive for what is offered. Doors hanging off of wardrobes, shelving collapsed, Holes in ceiling above shower (!), Nowhere to make hot drinks was offered and no kettle in room, Coffee from bar at 2.50€ a cup. Heating was not on in room. Bedroom door rattles constantly. Kitchen...

I was disappointed that I realized the day of my intended stay that there had been a mix up with my reservation despite two phone calls and an email confirming my stay. In the end I didn't stay here but would have liked to.

Came here for lunch while staying with family and came back for food and coffee again and again... And again. Steak at lunch was tender and beautifully cooked served with good wine. The service is very friendly, exceptional. Great music and a lovely vibe to while away a Connemara afternoon. Definitely try it!

We had a terrific stay in this lodge. It is a 10 minute walk to the grocery store (goats spying you from the bushes) and on the doorstep of Connemara National Park. The spacious kitchen upstairs worked well to fix meals with plenty of room to relax and pick a book from the shelves or to accomplish tasks at the...

The sign reading 'Luxury Budget' might be a little exaggerated, but this is a great low-budget place to stay for backpackers. There was a great common room on the top floor with books, a kitchen and comfy seats to rest after a long day of walking. The location is perfect if you want to visit Connemara National Park. there's a...
