Off the beaten track, but well worth the detour, Smugglers has been on the go for a long time but this doesn't mean it's stale by any means. The menu is varied- perched above the Atlantic the seafood is as superb as you'd expect but their land menu doesn't disappoint at all. Ordered patê for starters and scampi and crab...

We visited the smugglers for evening dinner recently on a gorgous Sunday evening. We both ordered a burger and chips. This would not be a choice we would usually make but we both agreed there were 2 key words that sold us both! 1. focacia bread 2. mozzarella cheese We were so disappointed when we were served a basic ordinary...

I stayed here with my husband for one night for his birthday. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was lovely. It was spacious with a modern shower room and a large balcony. We had our lunch on the balcony over looking the beach. We were lucky with the weather and were able to spend the afternoon...

Visited here with friends for Sunday lunch, the setting is superb with an amazing view over Rossnowlagh beach. We had 5 children in our party, with ages ranging from 1 to 12 and they were all made very welcome by the staff. The restaurant itself was very busy and there were also a lot of people calling in for drinks...

Had a lovely meal here during recent holiday and enjoyed the stunning view down rossnawlagh strand and the rest of the beautiful Donegal coast line. Good service and reasonable prices helped complete the experience so will definitely come back again

This is my third time to smugglers in recent times. And i go back just because the location is incredible, interior second to none….service is horrible:-( The last two times is a perfect example. Sat right at the bar and waited at least 5min to be served. Thats a long time considering there was no one else at the bar....
