This is the best place ever! We come here at least twice a year! The set up is brilliant for a surf weekend in beautiful Co.Donegal! The hostel offers everything a surfer needs( storage for all the gear, one minute walk to the beach and eyeball surf report from your bunk bed)! The atmosphere is very chilled out and welcoming!... Had never surfed before, these guys were really helpful organising everything and getting us out on the waves, really laid back and can help with anything. The lodgings have all the basics so no complaints there. thanks

From pulling into the car park, until we thanked them and left the staff were unbelievably friendly and made us feel welcome and part of the wonderfully relaxed life of the village. In spitting distance of bars, the shop and, of course, the picturesque beach. This is not a luxury hotel, it is exactly the fun, clean and accessible accommodation... More

The surf lodge in Rossnowlagh is a place I just love going back to. It is the ideal place to hang out with fiends, relax and have the craic. You don't have to surf to stay here, which is lucky for me!

The atmosphere of the place is great. Perfect if you want to relax and surf. I took two lessons of surfing and I definitely will come back to try it again. Hostel is clean and just 1 min walk from the beach.

The task being a weekend of surfing! The surf lodge is right at the end of the path down to the beach. I stayed in a three-bed dorm, but I was the only one there. It is pretty sparse - a couple clothes hangers, one night stand, a bunk bed and a separate twin, but there is a black-out shade... More

Fin McCool's is the kind of small, remote, but still cool hostel that everyone kind of wishes they could live in. It's tucked in Rossnowlagh, like eight steps away from the beach, and hidden around the corner from a nice hotel and a caravan park. This town is beach vacation at its finest, but Fin McCool's is just so down-to-earth... More

Was the only person in the hostel during my stay but had a lovely visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great - right on the beach. Parking, internet, bed, kitchen, plenty of tea - had everything you need!

Had a very enjoyable stay here recently with some friends. The lodge has an ideal location, just beside the beautiful beach. We were greeted by the staff who were very helpful, and the place itself was just perfect. It's clean, comfortable, has a lovely kitchen/sitting room with great views. Didn't avail of the surf lessons but that is top of... More

Spent a great weekend here with friends on a Stag Party. Very comfortable accommodation and very reasonable prices. Great location virtually ON the beach which is great for all the usual stuff including surfing. Surfers shop attached to the premises which makes it handy and right next door to the hotel if you fancy treating yourself to a well earned... More
