Stayed at the Tara hotel for a last minute weekend break away. We had one of the suites and had a bit of a mixed time. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, the mattress was very soft and the room was nowhere near warm enough. We asked for the heating to...

The Tara is a well maintained hotel right on the harbour with expansive views over the Bay. It seems to have had a recent upgrade as the bathroom even had a heated mirror that didn't fog up and a really good shower. The staff are very pleasant and accommodating and the bar/restaurant is very convenient with good food. The B&B...

The Tara Hotel was a lovely place to spend a night after a long day of driving and sightseeing. It Is an intimate place, and the room was modest in size, but perfectly adequate, with a terrific view over the bustling harbor. Everything was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant did a very nice job with...

Lovely clean place to stay with the most beautiful views to look at sunrise to sunset, will definitely be back to see the friendly staff and whole area itself just gorgeous, and the little beech just up the road was also peaceful and amazing to just sit and watch the world go by

stayed for a 2 night business trip. Situated in a stunning location, the hotel room itself was a good size with a nice balcony. Toiletries were basic with an all in one shampoo/body wash which isn't the best for my hair. Ate in the hotel both nights and quality of seafood is great with all dishes delicious and well presented.
