I would recommend to anyone. I was welcomed by the staff with open arms and they treated me like family. I will definitely go back and stay at the Tara again. The room was spotless and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. My room over looking the harbour topped it off x

Stayed here one night but could have stayed more...lovely setting with a sea view. Everyone talks about"Killybegs and the smell of fish"...we never had that problem. There are bars, restaurants, chipshops, pizza and chinese places close also but we ate in the hotel. Food was lovely and service was second to none. Will definitely stay again.

family room was quite big, but: kid beds were done fast, so not very well done the air extraction of the kitchen comes through the room, and it is really annoying. Woke up at 6AM, when the kitchen turned on Reception apologized for the inconvenience, but fact is that anybody should avoid to have a room on 4th floor
