From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the staff at the Tara could not do enough for us.Our rooms were clean and warm with fantastic views of the harbour, and our food was excellent. We stopped in Killybegs on a Sunday morning. Not many places were opened, so we went to the local hotel for breakfast. It was really tasty and affordable. Staff were helpful. We had a lovely view of the port. Very happy.

I have stayed in the Tara Hotel several times now and have always found it to be a very good hotel with helpful staff and good facilities. The location is perfect as it is right in the centre of Killybegs and just across the road from the port.

This was the Tara Suite , room 301,and was very comfortable with views directly over harbour with boats, seals and of course seagulls in view. Breakfast focused mainly on cooked dishes...
