Stopped off for a coffee and a slice of apple tart. Michelle served me. The first thing she brought was a bowl of water for the dog. Sat outside. Great service, lovely coffee and a nice big slice of apple tart, cream and some custard. What more could a man and his dog ask for?

Last Thursday night three of us went to The Bosun for bar food. They have an early bird menu that is on all night, it is great value €22.90 for two courses and €26.30 for three courses. There is a huge choice for each course, one of us had the chowder for a starter, she said it was gorgeous, two...

Went in for Sunday lunch and found the establishment to be very busy which is usually a good sign, my partner ordered Cod and I the Roast Lamb. After quite a substantial wait the food arrived and all the Lamb plate was hot with the exception of the Lamb itself. I hate cold food so I sent this back and...

Bathroom and shower Okay, given plenty of towels and extra pillow in wardrobe, which was great as I like 3 pillows. Breakfast a bit strange as cereal laid...

Lovely dinner at The Bosun, dinner was served in the bar. The food, the welcome and the service was of a very good standard, the early bird menu offered a wide selection and was very keenly priced. Fresh fish always a treat. We enjoyed an unusual choice of wine from the Bekka Valley, Lebanon. Full bodied any suited our palate...

We stayed for four nights and were made to feel totally welcome. From the little touches in our room (chocolates on pillows) to the greeting in the breakfast room we couldn't have asked for more. Our room was spotless, lovely and warm with an amazing view of the water. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the rooms. Having The...

Excellent spot, spent four nights while attending courses at National Maritime College in Ringaskiddy. Great fried breakfast and food in general. Front rooms have great view of the water. Rooms kept to a very high standard, even got chocolates on the pillows each day. Staff could not have been more helpful.

The seafood at this waterside restaurant is fresh and fantastic. Lots to choose from on the menu. I enjoyed the seafood chowder, pan fried filet of sea trout and sticky toffee pudding. The service was friendly and professional. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
