Having attended the funeral of an old well loved family friend, we were looking for somewhere for evening meal. We came across the Boson and liked the look of it so parked right by the water looked at the fantastic view. We made the right decision there were eight of us in total and we had starters, main courses and...

Been here a few times in the past and visited again two weeks ago, always a winner. I got the mussels for starters and they were surperb as was the sea trout. I really can't say anything bad about the food, the staff and the price is reasonable but I feel the place could do with a make-over, I felt...

Always busy but yet the service is always good. The owner Nicky is a gentleman and has run a superb establishment for the last few decades and he seems to be on duty any time I've been there. He well understands his clientele, who come from all around, and regularly. The menu is wide and varied, with something to suit...

This is my sixth time staying in the Bosun. It gets better every time. Fantastic friendly personal service from owner Nicky and bar manager Don. Seafood to die for. Friendly bar and restaurant staff. The Bosun......One of the very best reasons to visit Cork.

As always, the Bosun does not disappoint. The staff are incredibly accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The Thai Beef Salad has to be tried. It is also available as a main course and the flavours are fantastic. A touch expensive but well worth it.

Had a great stay at the Bosun, having both dinner in the restaurant next door and breakfast which were both excellent with large portions. The room on the top floor was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend
