I went on a fishing trip to Kanturk. The people I was fishing with recommended Arigle Lodge. Large rooms, great Irish breakfast, nice and attentive landlady. The place is close to a supermarket (for the morning paper) and near to places for an evening meal.I will almost certainly be returning for another fishing holiday and I look forward to the...

Went to this B&B this week for one overnight stay for work related purposes. Hospitality was second to none. Helen the owner could not do enough to make me welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and quite big. The breakfast passed par excellance. This was one of the best if not the best B&B that I have stayed in. Price...

Everything about this place is excellent. The rooms, the food, the welcome were brilliant. The full Irish breakfast was wonderful. There aren't enough superlatives to do it justice. Highly recommended.

My family came here because it was the town my dad grew up in. My grandmother remembered the owner Margaret from when they lived there. Rooms were clean with no problems at all. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. There is a supermarket with in a 1 min walk. Also multiple pubs and restraunts under 5 mins of a walk.

We stayed here in 2012, went for a birthday, we were a bit unsure about staying in ' out of the way' place. I totally fell in love with the town & actually looked into moving there!! From our landlady in arigle, who goes over & above I've ever experienced before, to the postman who realised we were on hols...

I have just spent five weeks staying here with two other medical students whilst on placement in the local area. Mrs. Hartnett couldn't have been a better host and looked after us in an exemplary fashion during our stay. She was always approachable and pleasant, and happy to chat to us. The rooms were all in a fantastic state, and...

My husband and I visited Kanturk because my great, great grandfather was stationed there as a policeman with the Royal Irish Constabulary when he met and married my great, great grandmother (who was a dressmaker). We found the town to be quiet with a pretty park along the river. Arigle Lodge is a 2 minute walk from the SuperValu carpark...

I stayed here with a friend on the weekend of 6th July. Helen, the B&B owner of the Arigle Lodge could not have been more welcoming. We were attending an event in a village outside Kanturk and the location of the B&B couldn't have been better. It is right beside the Supervalue and you can park your car there at...

We were exhausted from a long driving day. This B&B was a find in a town not yet overrun with tourists. We enjoyed visiting this small town, as Ireland is today, not as the postcards present. Kanturk is well located and easy to access. The room was very pleasant and felt almost new as it was so clean. The décor...
