We stayed there in October, ended up leaving that night as room was freezing cold, no Wi-Fi in room, 3 tv stations that kept freezing. When we left the girl on reception had no English, no offer of changing room, all she was interested in was room number to get tv fixed. Rang to speck to manager and he didn't... More

We recently took ourselves to stay for a 2 night break in Cork. The hotel we usually stay in was booked up so we stayed here instead. The facilities are quite poor. There is no bar or restaurant and the decor is very old and in need of serious updating. The breakfast was awful. On the first morning, the sausages... More

Untill you arrive there, there is no mention of the restaurant being closed for renovation and bar closing at 6pm.There are two vending machines with snacks and drinks but they're locked up in the bar. Reasonable priced and beds are clean and comfortable.I have stayed there before and when there was a kitchen the food was good. Let people know!

The staff are all friendly and extra helpful. They go the extra mile and make up for any shortcomings in the decor, which is a bit dated in places. Having said that, the breakfast room is bright, and clean with a good quality food and larger choice than average. En route to breakfast is a sitting room with settees, TV and... More

I stayed for 2 nights and expected a standard three star experience. However I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is welcoming, the room is clean and the bed comfortable. It didn't hurt to be surrounded by a golf course and the club house does good food and drink.

Another business trip, another hotel but this one was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is available in the hotel area but evening meals have to be taken in the golf club building, but the food was very good. All in all, a good stay.

Upon arrival after a 3 hour journey we were told that they had not received our booking. When the booking company rang the hotel they admitted that they had over booked. We just got a shoulder shrug and half hearted sorry from receptionist. Disgraceful.
