Anna and Padraig opened up their house to us for a quick one-night visit. The Sunville House is a charming building on a historic site about 5k from the village. Upon arrival, our hosts welcomed us into their den for fireside evening tea and biscuits. We enjoyed a beautiful starlit walk. The next morning's breakfast was tasty and fulfilling: homemade...

This was our first trip back to Cork without our dad who was born here. We chose this beautiful residence as it looked so cosy and inviting. We weren't disappointed as the candles and fire were lit and a warm welcome from Anna and Paddy Casey followed by a tray of tea and homemade warm scones and amazing raspberry jam....

Anna, the Hostess opened the door with a big smile and a warm welcome. Showed me to my room, very spacious with a lovely sitting room area. Cosy and spotless bathroom. Had tea made with leaves, and homemade scones, which I enjoyed. A great sleep in a comfy bed. Lovely table filled with a large selection of fruits, fresh orange...

Lovely comfortable B+B located in a very quiet location - approx 4km from the small seaside town of Ballycotton. Extra lovely hosts - could not have been more hospitable or helpful! They provided homemade scones & tea on arrival, which was most appreciated after 5hour journey from Mayo! Also great directions from Midleton, which were spot on.. I stayed in...

While this B and B was well out of the way down some very narrow country farm roads, it was well worth the trip. It was 2 km to Ballycotton for food, pubs and cliff walk. We enjoyed the continental breakfast with full Irish breakfast if desired. The host and hostess were friendly and helpful. This place had a beautiful...

Very welcoming with two lovely sitting areas with a nice view of the farm and lands. It was pouring rain in the evening but still lovely to sit in the sun room and enjoy a good book after full day of travel. The homeade scones and raspberry jam were absolutely delicious! Friendly folks!! Hope to get back again

We have just returned from an 8 week trip around UK & Ireland using 41 different B&Bs and found Sunville B&B near Ballycotton an excellent place to stay. The house is quite modern and situated in a rural region east of Cork with ample parking space. Paddy greeted us warmly on arrival and served us scones with homemade jam &...

I have to say this place is a real gem. Myself and a friend stayed here last weekend for a wedding that was on in Castlematyr (about a 20 min drive from this B&B). The house itself is lovely with spacious, clean rooms and extremely comfortable beds. The hosts, Pat and Anna, are both great and you instantly feel at...
