We liked this hotel so much that we stayed here twice! We were heading for the South and as we had to return back on the same way, we decided to stay another night there, in a different room. The rooms had lots of place, especially since they were apartments. We had our own kitchen! A bonus. WIFI worked quite...

The room was spacious enough but it was not air conditioned and all the pipes makes noises. Every time you flush the toilet it whines for 10 minutes. There are no extras like shampoo or lotion or hair dryers. No wash cloths just a bath towels for each bed. It was nice having a refrigerator and the location is OK....

Comfortable, clean room and beds in a convenient spot in central Selfoss. Beautiful falls are nearby. This was our last stop along the Ring Road and the drive to and from Selfoss to the Ring Road is exceptionally beautiful.

The Hotel Fosstun is a nice hotel offering clean and modern facilities located on a main road in Selfoss. Our room was at the front of the hotel but it was still quiet and we had a good nights sleep. We only had a small amount of contact with the staff but they were friendly and accommodating. The open shower...

Good standard, clean. Nice yard in the back-lot, with a table suitable for eating breakfast in the sun. Staff was helpful and accomodating. Minor nitpick was a bit shaky wifi-connection. Short walk to restaurants etc.

We loved this accommodation which was bigger than anywhere else we stayed and the best price we had all week. The room was so clean, shower brilliant, there was nothing to grumble about! We weren't expecting much as this was the cheapest hotel we stayed in whilst touring Iceland but we were staggered at how clean it was, definitely the...

They are in the process of a total renew of the rooms. The new ones are very very good. The window blinds allows a total darkness (very important in summer), the toilet is huge and the kitchen is very nice equipped. The staff is very friendly and the location is superb.

We stayed here for one night in June 2016 as part of a road trip along the south coast of Iceland. Our check-in was slightly delayed as the hotel was only just re-opening for the summer after being used by students and cleaning had took longer than planned. The apartment was very good as the kitchen facilities and the living...

We stayed at the Fosstun hotel for one night, during our road trip in Iceland. I enjoyed our studio very much as it was very clean and had a kitchen with basic facilities: cutlery, dishes, pans, fridge, cook top, microwave. We were able to cook a very nice meal. There are no basic ingredients though, so you would need to...

A two-storey, family-run hotel. We had a large apartment for our one-night stay although the bedroom was small and offered only single beds. Good Wi-Fi and the lady running the show helped us organise our washing for a very modest fee. The Icelandic Horse Show is nearby.

“Level two is less noisy. Also, I would suggest getting a room on the side or back of the hotel instead of the front next to the street.”

“Rooms facing the grassy area in the back of the hotel have no street noise. Parking is close by in a small parking area with a concrete walkway to the room. The doors have exterior doors so rooms on the second floor are accessible by stairs outside - no elevator.”
