We stayed two nights in cottage number 5 on December 27th and 28th. The cottage had 3 bedrooms, one bath and a furnished kitchen with adequate eating and cooking utensils. The appliances are a bit old and one burner on the stove did not work. There was a hot tub (and another bathroom) on the deck that was turned on...

We stopped here for 3 nights just before Christmas. The cabin was just what we needed after a day sight seeing and the hot tub was lovely and very hot even wth -2 degrees outside. There is everything you need in the cabin from microwave, oven, fridge, DVD player and a nice fast shower. The first night we got wifi...

Cottages located in great place- don't need to travel a lot to see attractions. Personnel is very helpful- even in extreme situations. Houses well equipped in good condition. Outdoor bath tubes with hot water are great.

Spent one week at Minniborgir cottages - ideal for our holiday. Friendly staff on hand, nice and warm cottages - compact but contain everything you need, we enjoyed the hot tubs every evening, even when it snowed. Location is brilliant - many of the best tourist spots are within easy driving distance, especially Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir. You do need...

The pros: cosy cottages, hot tubs outside, well equipped kitchen The cons: tiny bathroom, cottages are equipped with some old, at times even broken, furniture and interiors. All in all, average with a little extra thumbs up for the hot tubs.

We stayed at Minniborgir cottages for four nights in October. Unfortunately it rained our entire stay, but the cottage was more then we had hoped for and was really homely. The positives would be that the cottages are in a great location along the golden circle, 1 1/2 hours away from Reykjavik, and approximately an hour away from the geyser...

Nice cozy cottage with all the basics, nothing fancy but great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. There are several of these cottages laid out among the property but was fortunate in hearing nothing at night.

Spent a wonderful night here in September. The hot tub was great to soak into as we arrived into Iceland that day. Very spacious room, two bedrooms with bunk beds in each. Kitchen area/seating area with dishwasher, oven, fridge etc. couch with tv and dvd/vcr combo. Tasty breakfast in the morning with your typical Icelandic fare. Shower stall in the...

We were 2 couples in two 30 meter cottages for two nights. The bed room area is very tight with a bunk bed above a small double. The mattress in one room was poor. Bathroom is small. The sitting area is also small. The couches in both living rooms were dirty and not nice. They had throw covers over them...
