I was very pleasantly surprised by the charm of the hotel. It was a nice place to spend the night. The room was nice and comfortable.
Small "homey" hotel in the south. Perfect base to see the Geysir Hot Spring Area, also close to Thingvellir National Park and Gullfoss. The hotel has two hot tubs and they help you relax after a long day. There is also a small library/bar area.
The staff was polite, efficient and helpful. Our bathroom was small but clean and perfectly adequate. Our room was large for Iceland standards with 2 tiny beds. The hotel was quiet and the grounds were quaint and lovely.
