While the hotel itself and the rooms were beautifully decorated, the location makes it difficult to do much else. About a 30 min drive to the Golden Circle area, but not a restaurant or grocery store within range of the hotel. We ended up having to eat at the hotel restaurant which had a great ambience but was a tad...

We stayed for one night as part of our golden circle tour. Decent place to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurants are good and offer good eating option. We also had one day of conference and they offered good conferencing. The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The hotel offers good breakfast spread. No gym in the hotel and...

The hotel has a very charming and relaxing atmosphere. The Rooms are quite good and spacious enough for a couple days. Bathroom is ok, enough towels and amenities. I really enjoyed the hot top which can be used until midnight. Excellent restaurant with really good food and very nice staff. Enough free parking possibilities.

This hotel makes me want to write a review after coming back from Iceland. Apart from being a good luck charm on our first night into the countryside because we saw the Northern Lights from our very own balconies (we went as a group of friends), the hotel is so clean and fresh with very cozy atmosphere and all amenities...

We stayed in this hotel while touring the Golden Circle. We decided to stay here for a few nights in the hopes of catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights and it didn't disappoint. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere -- so city lights don't interfere with your chances of seeing the Lights. The hotel offers a wake...

Stayed here just one night on our trip around the south of Iceland. This is a lovely hotel with rooms of various standards located in a complex around the main hotel building (which houses the restaurant, bar and reception area.) Our room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and was supplied with all the usual extras (mini-bar, tea and coffee making...

This is a lovely hotel, set in the countryside. The hotel has a main building with reception and the restaurant, and then a number of separate guest buildings. The rooms we were in were fresh and clean, designed with a 'hamptons' feel, with an outdoor verandah area. The bathroom was a good size with a shower over the bath. The...

Stayed to see the northern lights. Hotel in amazing surroundings. Rooms are large and well furnished. Food is amazing - try the lamb. Hot tubs warm but we didn't use them. Waiting staff (head waiter) a real star. We had a wrong order and he quickly corrected it and gave us a complementary drink. Really good service and so engaging...

The concept of this hotel is a bit strange. There are about ten buildings in a circle, some of them with separate hotel rooms, other with large appartments. We stayed in a large, clean and very comfortable room, near the main building. Nice view on free nature outside. Beds are perfect! Breakfast buffet is OK, with everything you desire. I...

We spent 3 nights here as part of a northern lights tour. We were housed together in a guest house consisting of around 10 rooms each with a private patio. It was a short walk to the main building with the restaurant and it was rather dark! Great for viewing the NL (i guess but sadly didn't see any!) but...
