This is a must if you are staying and touring Iceland. My husband and I spent 6 days touring the South and stayed here on our first night. Although a little bit more expensive then other hotels, it was def worth it and we felt we got the full Icelandic experience here. The room was beautiful, clean and authentic with...

The location was excellent! Great place to go exploring and hiking. Natural hot springs nearby. Breakfast was good. We loved the hot tub, warm pool and the indoor spa-like foot soak area. The room was clean and comfortable, a little small but I liked the area so much, it didn't matter. There is a blow dryer, which is also a...

We so wanted this stay to be at the caliber of the other hotels we stayed at during our week long Iceland trip. But overall very disappointed Positives: Our room was clean and the staff seemed genuinely nice. The location of this hotel is great as it sits right on the river. Negatives: The place is in need of a...

This hotel is simply awesome. It's location is the best between mountains with a stream flowing along, hot tubs etc. It's restaurant is the best in the area and beautifully made with transparent roof . So lucky to have chosen this. Do make some time to enjoy the facilities if you are staying here😈

Frost and Fire Hotel has to be in my top 3 hotels ever stayed at! The staff were amazing and could not have been any more helpful. The hotel has breath-taking views of the mountains and river and makes the place seem even more tranquil. I would highly recommend eating at the adjacent restaurant which is attached to the hotel...

The location is perfect if you want to explore the hot springs and mountains that are right on your doorstep. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the restaurant food is fantastic. The rooms are cosy and overlook the river beside the hotel. The price is the only thing stopping me giving 5 stars.

Stayed here shortly after it had opened I believe, and it didn't disappoint. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable - we also had a lovely view of the river that flows past. Being able to cook your eggs over the natural steam was a lovely touch to the breakfast, and dinner was lovely. Ordered great wine, and enjoyed...

Bed was comfy, room was clean, balcony needed a good sweeping. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with directions. Breakfast had the most delicious breads to choose from! Very small closet and really no place to unpack your clothes, live out of your luggage on the floor.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights after arriving in Iceland. The customer service while planning our trip was excellent- big thank you to Amarion who is just lovely. The front desk recommended a taxi driver who can provide service from/to Reykjavik and the airport as well as Iceland Activities with whom we did two day trips while there...
