The woman that ran this guesthouse was incredibly kind and accommodating! She offered a delicious breakfast and provided laundry services at a reasonable rate. The guestrooms were clean and the beds were cozy. We have been camping for the entire trip, but was feeling sick and needed somewhere to stay indoors. I'm glad we chose this place and felt like...

Not cheap, this farm stay was warm and comfortable and linen clean. But the bedroom was directly off the small, crowded dining room (There was nothing else for MANY miles) - so good for these people for providing food. The shared facilities were on the other side of the dining room and used by everyone. It was a tiny room...

We stayed here on our way to Lake Myvatn. The place was fairly basic but nice enough. The owner was friendly and made our stay nicer. Our original plan was to travel to Detifoss from here but we couldn't due to the weather. It would be a useful place to stay if this was your plan.

I stayed there on 28.Dec. They are family owner with great kindness. It was really easy to find. Just turn right from Road no.1 right before you cross the bridge. My car was stuck in snow at the cross road before the guesthouse. And the man from the guesthouse (sorry I don't remember the name) helped me even he had...

Stopped on the way around Iceland. Such a nice place and the hosts are extremely friendly. You feel welcome immediately and you get to know the whole family in a second. Highly recommended, either for a quick coffee or a longer stay.

I stayed there for two days while driving the circle around Iceland, the female host was very friendly and I got to know all of her lovely children, she has quite a few! Its was a really cozy place to stay at and the rooms where clean and the food was great. I recommend the apple pie, it was divine....

I've traveled in many countries and visited countless campgrounds, hostels and guesthouses and this is by far the worst place I've had the displeasure to visit. It basically looked like a military camp with white block buildings with a patch of grass in the front yard, supposedly for tents. The quick look I took in the main building gave me...
