Aktaion is an old hotel, clean in way but nothing special. Its ok if someone wants to spend a night or two in a good priced hotel but thats all. I was trying to get a coffee in my room at 7.30 in the morning, unfortunately both mornings there was no answer at the reception. I had to go to...

This is a newly renovated older property with a classic feel to it. Right on the seefront, near restaurants, etc. Average rooms, but all with a great view of the harbour from their wonderful balconies. Parking right outside the door was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The woman at the front desk was very helpful.

We were touring the Peloponnese and this hotel was a welcome stop over for one night. Polite staff on desk - room had all necessities - comfy bed - overlooking sea and parking easy on road. Gythio only very small place and probably would only want to stay for one night - as we did - nice coastal resorts nearby

The hotel has a grand facade, and the space outside of the rooms suggests they will be fine. However, they are small, poorly furnished, with no thought whatsoever of any coherent theme/style. There are a mishmash of items bought over the years, with a view to updating the room. However, there is a desk with a fridge beneath it and...

Except for the location and the beautiful view, the hotel has nothing else to offer. The room was quite small, smelled like cigarette smoke and was a bit noisy due to traffic. In general, the whole facility is in great need of a renovation. The refrigerator in the room was a plus. Breakfast was very basic.

A boutique hotel in the centre of Gythio town. Easy access in and out of town and a good spot for having a base and make one day trips in Lakonia. Cosy, clean rooms, not really large ones though, a bit away from the very busy part of the town but still not very quite, fully equipped in a building...

Stayed for four nights on our recent trip to the eastern peloppenese. Hotel was beautifully located, comfortable and parking easy. Lovely view from the balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast very nice and very courteous service. Would recommend.

The hotel is really nothing special, but there's nothing wrong with it either. It's reasonably priced, clean, free WIFI, fridge, AC and is in a great location with all rooms overlooking the harbour. I'd gladly stay here again

Hotel is located on main street at the port with beautifull view. Room facilities are standard for a 3star hotel , breakfast is poor. It is very clean. Convinient for a short visit year round except the July-August period as you will have to walk for about 2klms for the nearest beach under very hot conditions.
