We stayed at the Heartstone Inn and it was so beautiful. The breakfast was outstanding. What a relaxing time we had sitting on the deck watching the birds and appreciating our beautiful surroundings. This stay was the end of a month long trip and it was the perfect ending. The Biltmore room was clean and beautiful in shades of brown and blue with a front porch to sit on and spend relaxing evenings. The Inn was right next to a trolley stop to take you to beautiful Eureka Springs for shopping and other sites in the area. Make sure you take the time to see Christ of the Ozarks, breath taking. Thank you Rick and Cheri for your hospitality and friendship. I will remember this beautiful Inn and you both for years to come. If you are visiting Eureka Springs this is where to stay.

My wife & I have found that we truly love staying at bed & breakfast accommodations. Heartstone Inn just reinforced our commitment to seek overnight stays because every single one presents a unique environment and experience. Over the years we’ve stayed at a number of nice hotel chains, and most of the time we’ve received clean, comfortable beds, usually courteous and attentive service; and, where offered, generally adequate breakfasts. Bed and breakfasts are different. First - there is an ownership factor. In nearly every case, you will engage with the property owners. Unlike the hotel chains, these folks have embraced the idea that their continued success is on trial with every guest, every day. These are the owners; they make your successful experience with them a priority. They know you expect comfortable beds, freshness in your surroundings, courteous service and food that makes you want to come back….And tell all your friends about. Heartstone Inn does all of that. Jim and Cheri do all of that; they are genuinely warm and friendly hosts. They take the time to offer their guests fresh home baked pastries every afternoon with coffee, tea, or lemonade. We spent 3 nites with them, and, in the morning over coffee, we had engaging conversations with several of the other guests, all of whom had long histories of staying at Heartstone. Rick ‘n Cheri have owned it for 23 years. Each breakfast we had was carefully prepared and served with fresh juice. Each day featured a different baked egg dish, a freshly baked pastry, fresh fruit, & some type of breakfast meat. Each was carefully presented and absolutely delicious. I like a traditional breakfast, so this departure in breakfast fare was a bit disconcerting. I was hooked at the first bite. We also enjoyed breakfast each day out on the deck just off the dining room. It was our choice, and we loved sitting out watching the songbirds, squirrels, and hummingbirds by the dozens. What a wonderfully relaxing experience. I wish to be very clear about one thing I’ve noted about the “bed & breakfast” industry; With hotels/motels you get a measure of uniformity, and many people come to expect that; with “B’n Bs” you won’t get that. Many don’t have pools, or gyms. You may not get 300 tv channels, or underground parking. What you will get is a unique personal experience in a unique setting, personal attention from the owners, and almost certainly a bit of sadness when it’s time to depart. Learn to rejoice in the variety of bed & breakfast experiences that are out there; and if you’re passing thru Eureka Springs in Arkansas, and you’re fortunate enough to stay at Heartstone Inn as your first ever bed & breakfast, Rick & Cheri will fully demonstrate what makes B&Bs a full measure better!

Heartstone Inn is our go-to place every time we visit Eureka Springs. Rick and Cheri are welcoming and gracious hosts who ensure every room is in perfect condition for their guests. We brought friends and stayed in the Victoria House on our most recent visit. It was perfect for two couples and within 50 steps of the main house. The Inn's location is excellent. Guests can walk to downtown Eureka Springs, take the trolly, or drive the short distance to the center of town. The breakfasts were fabulous! Rick and Cheri used the morning gathering to share local lore and provide insights into area attractions and events to ensure everyone gots the most out of their visit. Eureka Springs is a charming town and the Heartstone Inn is the place to stay to truly feel its quaintness.

After having stayed in a B&B in a coastal town each anniversary, we were excited to stay at another highly recommended B&B. Before our trip, Heartstone provided us with an app to explore the area and prepare for arrival. It didnt have every activity or resource in the area but it was a good start, especially for first timers. Upon arrival we experienced a touchless check-in and a cool room. Our crackers were waiting and after a quick trip to the lobby for ice and prepurchased cheese platter we relaxed from a long drive and hot day. Our room did not have a fridge but there are rooms that do include a fridge (get that next time). The bed was clean (checked for signs of bed bugs, stains, and smells). The bathroom and vanity were stocked with essentials (bar soap, lotion, shampoo, towels). Highlights include free refreshments in lobby, amazing cookies and brownies during the day on the veranda, great tasting breakfast in friendly atmosphere, easy downtown access, great massages at Spa1905, decent food and good service at local flavor (some underseasoned or overseasoned food), wonderful people at Passion Play who treated us (strangers) to tickets to a play in the largest outdoor theatre, and great outdoor activity options. I noticed tons of antique shopping which wasn't neccessarily for us. Regrets include not staying one more day, not staying in a bigger room, eating at the Thai restaraunt (way underseasoned food and watered down thai tea, overpriced). P.s. Rick and Cheri are friendly and helpful. Thanks for the great stay!

My husband and I are enthusiastic guests of Select Registry Bed and Breakfasts, and it is clear why Heartstone Inn and Cottages are part of that family of inns! Rick and Cheri show a clear dedication to their enjoyment as owners of this B&B, and if you are looking for a relaxing get-away and stay you are sure to get one here. My husband and I have stressful jobs and small children, so it was so nice to have everything taken care of here. Check in was so smooth- in fact, we arrived early from out of town, and were advised that we were able to check in a bit early if we'd like. Our keys were in an envelope with our names in a basket on the porch, so right after lunch we grabbed our room keys and let ourselves into our room.

We enjoyed this bed & breakfast very much. The highlight each day was the gourmet breakfast cooked by the owner...quiche, fruit, bacon, pastry. Charming rooms. We had the first floor suite with a living room and a patio right outside our door where you can watch the hummingbirds. Also, the breakfast room was located steps from our suite. I would pay the extra to have a first floor room to avoid stairs. Owners will provide anything you want, like ice, water, and homemade cookies. Trolley stop is right outside, which is useful as parking in town is very difficult. We also enjoyed the app included with recommendations for restaurants.

We loved our visit to Eureka and couldn't have chosen a more lovely place to stay. Our room (the Edwardian Suite) was pleasant and provided us a sitting area where we could enjoy tv and relax. The room was spotlessly clean as was the Inn. Cherie and Rick were great hosts and provided a warm and friendly atmosphere along with tips on where to dine, etc. Not to mention the great breakfasts. I bought the Inn's cookbook, but not sure I can replicate Rick's recipes as everything was done to perfection. I will mention that anyone who is on the "more mature" side (older), might check where the room is as there were outside stairs to climb to our suite and some slope to the flooring (decking) prior to the room entrance. Afterall, the Inn is a lot older than any of us and to be expected. There are rooms on the first level to reserve for anyone who might find that an issue. We would definitely choose the Inn on another trip to Eureka. Thanks, Rick and Cherie, for your warm hospitality!

I am composing this the night before we depart our three night stay since our opinions will not change. This B&B in the quieter part of this enchanting city will provide you with exceptional accommodations (all with private baths), gourmet breakfast and proximity to fabulous restaurants, quaint shopping experiences, nature activities, and I’ve just discovered, at least one quality microbrewery. Eureka Springs is also less than a one hour drive to the amazing, world class Crystal Museum in Bentonville AR. Rick and Cheri are incredible hosts and will do EVERYTHING needed to make your stay better than hoped for. Rick’s culinary breakfast menus will impress you. Cheri’s baking will delight from your lobby entrance to breakfast additions! Right outside is a shuttle stop to take you most places within a few miles that might be of interest. We have enjoyed several stays here and will return again.
