We found The Benton Place Inn in 2013 as we passed through this incredible city. The first time we stayed was truly an amazing experience! Rebecca has such a warm and positive attitude and makes you feel like you are part of her own family....More
The most recent of our stays at the Benton Place. Once again it was perfect. Rebecca never fails us. It was chilly the evening we arrived, as we entered the bedroom it was cozy and warm. Go figure, Rebecca had started our fireplace. It is...More
My father stayed here for four nights over the Christmas break and was so pleased with everything this B&B had to offer (and he's a hard one to please). He stayed in the Cliffside Suite and said it was one of the coziest and most...More

When you walk into your room you'll notice some type of fresh pastry, wrapped and waiting for breakfast. Additionally, you'll find in the refrigerator a large carafe of fresh orange juice and two small bottles of sparkling wine for preparing Mimosas....if you're so inclined. And there is also everything you need to prepare a large fresh pot of coffee.
I'm not sure that The Benton Place is technically a "bed and breakfast" as Rebecca does not LIVE on the property. Just a few feet away is a restaurant called "Local Flavor" which we have always loved and "Mud Street café is just down the street from the courthouse. Only a little further up that road is "Nibbles" which will absolutely be a delightful (breakfast or lunch) experience.
