A really comfortable hotel, stayed here for a few days at the beginning of a tour and then returned for a few days again at the end of the holiday. All the staff without exception were very friendly, caring and couldn’t do enough for you from the restaurant manager to hotel manager down the the cleaning staff. The hotel is an oasis of calm in a very busy city. The buffet breakfast was first class in a really pleasant restaurant and all meals offered were of a very high standard. We were located in the 3000 rooms on both occasions and they were a large size and comfortable. A really great stay!
High standard hotel with an excellent, friendly staff. The food is great with utmost attention to hygiene There is a good indoor gym which I used. It is a busy hotel as it is also a conference hotel. Taxis to any part of Kathmandu are easy to arrange. If things don't go perfectly, don't abuse the staff as I witnessed from a group of 12 entitled Americans. It's a developing country for goodness sake. If you can't cope with that, stay at home. Their behaviour was just vile. People Unfit for Adventure Travel.
The hotel manager was very friendly to us and we had a few interesting talks together. The rest of the staff is also caring and helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. One of the best things about this hotel is that it is very close to the very busy and loud center of Kathmandu but it feels isolated and quiet. It has a nice garden and swimming pool. One of the most pleasant, and surprise, features, was the gym room. It is very well equipped, you can do all your workouts. Once you finish training there is a jacuzzi, a hamman, a sauna and some showers. It makes you want to come back every morning for some exercise! I highly recommend this hotel and I will will definitly come back here next time.
I had a wonderful stay in this property for approximately 4 nights! The hotel has a beautiful landscape with spacious rooms and greenery, giving it a resort feel unlike any other city hotels. Also the staff is professional and empathetic with an eye to perfection to match the expected service standards! Also, what made the difference was the out of the box service standard provided by the front office executive, Ms. Ranjita who offered us a complimentary drop to the airport which actually speaks a lot about the warm and hospitable gesture of the team. Thank you and I look forward to visiting you soon!
Hotel Himalaya has made its name in the industry, and the service provided matches the expectation too. I was delighted to be served and to see the hospitality of the staff members. The Ambience of Hotel Himalaya is amazing with natural beauty. This business visit of mine will be day to remember at Hotel Himalaya.
I had an amazing experience at Hotel Himalaya where I stayed last month with few of my friends. The property gives you a resort vibes even though its in the middle of the city. The view from my room was amazing. The rooms were neat and clean and the buffet spread was to die for . I mostly liked the buffet breakfast. Not to forget, the front office staffs and restaurant staffs were prompt and quick to our service, Also, we went to many restaurants in Jhamsikhel, patan area which is within a few minutes walk from the hotel. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit soon.
