Stayed for one night and the bed was really comfortable the hotel has a natural feel with a beautiful garden and the rooms are well ventilated with fresh air as a person with allergies I truly appreciate that. Since I was also moving from my last hotel as the air in the hotel was not fresh and I kept getting...

Recently stayed here for a number of nights when preparing to go on a trekking adventure and also returned for a couple of days prior to flying home. The staff at reception were attentive, polite, helpful without be intrusive. They aided me in choice of menu, from the restaurant listing, local beer "Everest" went down a treat (large bottle). Swimming...

The hotel is located 10 min drive from the turistic district. It is lovsted on a hill with view over the city and the Himalay tange in the back. Excellent service. Good aircond rooms. The restsurant is also good, especially the pizza and infian food. I will stay here next time Im coming ti KTM.

A last minute decision to stay here, a late arrival without a booking and the hotel and staff couldn't have been better or more welcoming. Friendly, very helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us, lovely, clean and comfortable rooms in a super, tranquil garden setting (worlds away from the rushing madness of Kathmandu just outside the gate), sensibly priced...

Located away from the bustle of city centre in Lalitpur. Rooms are spaced out over a large area in different buildings - can take some effort to understand the layout and ask for good rooms. The room I had was small, but well equipped. The table was too small. No coffee/tea maker was provided and if you needed coffee you...

I really like this hotel, though the food is pretty bad. I think it has gone downhill over the last year or so, often serving almost inedible and cold food. Love the architecture, pretty gardens. Lovely staff and clean rooms. Stayed here four times and always enjoy it, just wish they would improve the food. No room service after around...

I stayed on business and will make it my accommodation of choice on return visits. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was tasty, well prepared and well priced. The room was a comfortable size. I would have liked a slightly larger desk, but I am being fussy. There are also great gardens to sit in and enjoy....

As residents of Kathmandu we used to visit the Summit for farmer's markets and concerts. It was nice to return a decade later and find it remains a very tranquil and comfortable setting. Our rooms were quiet and comfortable and the gardens and facilities were all well kept. Breakfast was a real treat!

Over 30 years old the hotel was established by a Dutchman and is well built and has become a landmark of Kathmandu - not centrally located but within walking distance of the ancient city of Patan and close to Fewa an excellent cashmere retailer. Service is very good with a stunning view of the Himalaya range and Kathmandu city on...

One remembers the time when Summit was really a Home away from Home - Summit was the best, even in best value for money. The management of the Original team led by Cas de Stoppelaar was superb - & the Manager then -Roger Henke- was the Right Man for this Place. Management has now changed hands twice - & one...
