Detailed Reviews
Situated on top of a mountain with views of the mountains on all sides it is a lovely location with viewing platforms for sunrises and sunsets. The rooms were well appointed with tea/coffee facilities and there was good free internet in the bar/lobby area but not in the room. There is a lovely looking indoor swimming pool although we did not try the temperature. The staff were al helpful and delightful.

As the roads from Sallaghari Started extremely Rough and Unpitched, we made a Resort Called Club Himlaya a really immense and Large Resort, with enough parking spaces, The tea starter with deluxe room was fantastic with the balcony Top view from the balcony of room. The momo and prawn fried rice was super tasty and a Heated pool was awesome with Really Cozy jaccuzi. The Dinner was bit crowded with bit congested feelings with noisy environments, The food was really decent and Tasty, I would highly recommend this resort to everyone who comes to nagarkot as this resort is no 1 and none of the resort can comes ahead of it in my opinion.
Fully Best resort and will make again once the road may be pitched soon by the road ministry of Nepal.

For an overnight stay, there is no better place. Indoor pool and hot water jacuzzi were the best part. Its a 3 star hotel for a reason, though most things are worth 4 star..their open play area is limited.
Extra large rooms and excellent mountain valley view was tip of iceberg
Definite recommendation. We had stayed in Deluxe premium or super deluxe premium (forgot the type of room)
They were very honest in suggesting us to go for ala carte meal rather than special buffet given our specific food needs and large part of buffet was of no use. Their suggestion helped us to not waste money. Our food bill was probably 60% of the buffet rate that we would have paid had we opted for all meal

I was here for a yoga retreat in a group of over 20 people. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with amazing views of the beautiful sunrise, sunset, moon and stars from our balcony. There was good hot water in the shower, something very important to me in cold weather. The staff was well-spoken and friendly, which actually was my experience with most locals throughout the trip! We liaised most with Sumi, who was ever pleasant, polite and helpful.
The food at the buffet meals was varied (international style with some presumably Nepali dishes) and consistently tasty, and there's both indoor and outdoor seating (with heaters), and also a bar area where sports was screened. You should definitely try the momo dumplings! Would have appreciated if there was more variety in the cut fruit offerings though, instead of watermelon and papaya every day (but there were bananas and oranges too).
Last but not least, my friends and I had a great, relaxing time at their newly opened Healing Spa. I chose the Himalayan package for 120 minutes, which included a lovely hot stone treatment (it's been a month and I don't recall all the details), with all-over massage (including the different parts of the face!) and stretches (like doing yoga but without the effort!). My masseuse, Sharmila, provided just the right amount of strength to ease my tensions but still allow me to relax and enjoy the treatment. She also checked in to ensure the intensity was right for me. Thumbs up!

we already knew the hotel was good since we had stayed here in 2018. Happy to report, they have improved upon their service since then. Every member of the staff really tries their best to make sure you are taken care off. As suggestions for improvements, i would suggest a pool/billiards table (for when it is too cold outside to do anything), the pool to be heated (it is indoors but was still to cold to use, the rooms be a bit more sound proofed (it is hard to sleep in the day time with the sounds of people walking up and down or carts being pushed around etc). i would say the a la carte options are better than buffet (breakfast could have a better range), but that is true for most hotels.
we did spend New Years at the hotel, which was so much fun. They organized a party for hotel guests which was a ton of fun and the staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable.
we also booked airport transfer and rented a car for the day from the hotel and the service was fine. i would say contact the hotel directly for rates (booking.com gives you a much higher rate). also, do not miss out on their spa. i had the trekkers massage and it was so worth it! The therapist was amazing and i felt so much better after.
There are two or three terraces which give you a great view on a clear day, and paths around the hotel you can walk through.
Lastly, i would like to shout out Prayash and Babita from reception who were very helpful with all our questions and requests (they also made the NYE celebration a lot of fun). Gyan who helped us with our billing. Kiran, who was on the dinner shift, for being very accommodating.
This hotel feels like home. I highly recommend it.

We stayed at Club Himalaya for two nights at the end of our Nepal trip. The hotel is quite extensive and has lovely grounds. It is worth a stroll when you have a few minutes.
The best part about our room was the balcony that was complete with table and two chairs. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow for good mountain views, but the potential was there if you are luckier than us. Be aware there is no spa operating right now, perhaps due to Covid.
They advertise a spot to hike to for a good sunrise/sunset view, but be forewarned it is VERY far, about an hour to hike there. We used their rooftop for viewing, even though it was cloudy. There is a very nice gift shop on the lower level.
Re: food. The dining room is quite large and, unfortunately, has a high ceiling and is open to sounds from the pool area. While dining, there can be a LOT of noise coming from the pool into the dining room (screaming, yelling, splashing). It made the dining rather unpleasant. The food itself was good. There was a nice woman who made omelets at the cart in the morning for breakfast. One morning it was a different man who was not friendly and did not give me what I ordered. Instead, he made me the same thing my husband ordered and just shoved the plate at me! I tried to not take it, assuming it was someone else's order, but he was not cooking anything else. Not sure what I did to make him angry, but he did not seem to be enjoying his job.
Overall, I would say the staff was tolerant rather than pleasant.
This is a fine choice for a hotel stay, with the referenced caveats.

We were there at a quiet time, not a lot of guests. The front desk warned us that food might be a la carte if there aren't enough people, but excellent buffet was on. Anyway, very pleasant place. Crazy, in the US you would get some old plastic wrapped muffin for breakfast for this much money, not an excellent breakfast as well as dinner buffet.

We went on the afternoon to have some food and we wanted to enjoy the view of the terrace outside but ended up being disappointed by our time there. First of all there were two groups of people on the tables around us and they were so loud we couldn't even enjoy the view quietly, worst is when one of the table started burping out loud, as they were not already loud enough. Then we ordered cold coffee which came out like a cold glass of milk without any coffee in it and even after kindly asking the waiter if that was coffee because it didn't tasted coffee at all - he barely looked at us and didn't asked to redo the drink properly. He was more busy feeding the rich people from the beside table than caring about us. The food was average as well and the service very poor. The worst is the price we had to pay for such a poor experience, when it is supposed to be a luxurious hotel and place, you have high expectations. The price was insanely expensive for what we got, definitely not worth it and a complete waste of money. All the guests there that day acted so bad and looked uncivilised without good manners, you definitely expect educated and polite people if you pay that price and go that place. The place itself is probably good but I was too annoyed to even try to enjoy it. Too bad!

Look, there’s some good…and I’ll finish with that..but for starters; Terrible hammering all day completely eliminated any chance to relax. Repeated requests to management to stop the banging above us just made the day stressful and annoying. Breakfast, even though it was included in the rate, was WAY overpriced. Stale pastries, undrinkable juice…and the bacon and sausages were an abomination from Satan! The omelette station was decent though. Attentive staff? Sure, but way too attentive. A glance around the dining room or head lift bought staff scurrying to the table…it was just way too much. Put your knife and fork down and your plate is whisked away…constant cleaning and fussing was just exhausting..hot tip: don’t make eye contact or you’ll be smothered with offers of assistance. So if you want a quiet relaxing time in Nagarkot (and let’s face it..that’s the only reason to go) this ain’t it! On the positive: the bar (and roaring fire) was pleasant. A la Carte dinner was good (cracking tandoori chicken), complementary mini bar (thank you) and room size/amenities (if you get the junior suite) we’re good…but at approx $400 U.S a night…stay in Kathmandu and go lavish without the excruciating 1.5+ hour (it’s only 22km away!) drive. In the end the manager did try and appease, and yes I’ll sound ungrateful, but a bowl of fruit (free with breakfast) at 9pm after dinner, to compensate for an awful day and mediocre stay was never gonna cut it. If you MUST go to Nagarkot, shop around.
