I booked a budget room. It was a Hut more than a room and I liked it but the problem is about the cleanness. Also I don't recommend a room with shared bathroom because I brushed my teeth in the kitchen as the bathroom is busy. Also, the earthquake destroyed 3 buildings of the property so the pictures here are...

The hotel is out of the world and appropriately named "At the end of the universe" The location is great with breathtaking view of peaks. All wood construction which is good for cold climate. Great service and food. Most important - very reasonably priced.

Good location in Nagarkot. We stayed in a wooden cabin which was cosy. As is often usual in Nepal there was no hot water and we could not get connection to the wifi in our room but overall nice stay and bed was pretty comfortable.

I could not have chosen a better place to stay during my 5 weeks in Nagarkot. The place is clean, comfortable and cosy. The staff is polite, warm and friendly and always willing to provide help or advice on trips if so requested. When I suffered from a cold they kindly prepared ginger/lemon tea for me in order to get...

We stayed here because my mum had stayed here back in 1981 and the online photos of the large dining hall overlooking the Himalayas looked magical. Upon arriving, we were a little confused as to where the dining hall was as in its place the hotel is erecting new rooms. Upon chatting to the staff we learned that the hotel...

Room: I expected to stay 1 night in nagarkot, leaving early morning. But after I arrived at the hotel I extended for another night because it felt like a place that deserves some time to stay and enjoy. The rooms are in different small cabins. I got an upgrade sice the low budget rooms hat a mice problem, may still...

We loved our stay at the "end of the universe"... The views were incredible and the hotel truly was a good place to relax and soak in the mountain views. Some nice walking trails nearby too that are worth exploring. The hotel's location isn't that well marked on the road up so make sure you have it on a map...

The Hotel was booked online. We liked the price and the reviews. The hotel did pick us up from the airport which was great. We arrived early evening. Wasn't aware of the steps to get up to the hotel. But thats ok for us since we are physically fit but someone else should be aware of this if in poor...

Chic design, cool owner, rooms with character. Super view, good food, wide menu. Travelled Nagarkot solo in December, reached around 4pm, was lucky and got the last room. (Room E) Renovations are on-going, but it does not affect the cafe, view nor the rooms. Can't wait to be back.

A few of my friends and I hiked to Nagarkot last weekend and we arrived at the Hotel at the End of the Universe just in time to catch a breathtaking sunset from the terrace. From there on, everything was great--the rich masala tea, the Nepali hot toddys, the ambiance in the funky dining room--until my friends and I awoke...
