We spent one night here (Christmas Eve!) and it has been great. We were given a very nice corner room just facing the Himalaya: the view from my bed was STUNNING! The whole hotel is very nice and also the food is good. The owner Rudra is very friendly and even gave us some little Buddhas as Christmas present!s!

Clean and cosy room with your own fireplace. Kind staffs with good service and smile. Great Everest views from the room. Basic room facilities, delicious organic meals. Must see Sunset from their restaurant. Enjoy!

My friend and I stayed at Nagarkot Farmhouse resort for 2 nights the first week in October. It is a rustic retreat outside Kathmandu, about 75 minutes from the airport up a very scenic but windy road, that gets many repeat visitors for good reason. About 3 km from the town Nagarkot where the luxury hotels are, at the end of... More

The views were amazing but that is all up to the weather - we were lucky. The hotel management is really exceptional - they are friendly, helpful and will do anything to please. The rooms are comfortable but the bathrooms could use some work on leaking taps. Food is very good with home made jams and bread and real Nepal... More

In 3+ years of living in Kathmandu this was one of our regular out of the city weekend retreats. Peacefully perched on its own hill soaring above the valley, with unrivalled spectacular views to the Himalayas from your room and the balcony, it's a 45 minute walk, or 10 minute very bumpy ride, out of the township - and there... Nagarkot Farmhouse Resort is hidden away from the main part of Nagarkot and is the most beautiful place to stay. From the top of Nagarkot where most of the hotels are, it is a 20 minute walk down the hill to the jungle and forest or a short drive by car which will take you to the main entrance. When... More

The rooms are absolutely beautiful and super cosy! You can make a fire in the oven, you can see the Himalayan Range in it's massive spread. The garden around makes this place into an oasis. The food, especially the breakfast is great! The staff is very relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend at least one night here to get the... More

In March (2014) a group of us stayed at the Nagarkot Farmhouse and found it to be excellent, particularly after busy dusty Kathmandu. The rooms, with en-suite bathrooms, have stunning views and really comfortable beds and warm cosy bedding. We enjoyed some precious moments relaxing in deck chairs, mesmerised by the majestic snow-capped mountains. The food was good with substantial... More

We tried to book a room at nargakot farmhouse resort two days ago. However, if you click on the agoda link on tripadvisor, the hotel is then called "nargakot bed and breakfast". As we arrived at the farmhouse resort, no one knew of our booking. Also no one knew a hotel named nargakot bed and breakfast. As farmhouse resort was... More

Best place we have found in Nagarkot after a few visits. COMFORTABLE beds was a highlight, along with excellent breakfast, delicious nepali food for lunch and dinner, wood burners to keep us warm, hot showers (maybe too hot) and amazing sunrise views. Definitely going back - a great place to escape from the KTM valley to walk in the fresh... More
