Visited back in late 2007 and again on May 4th, 2015. So much progress has been made since my last visit! Stayed in room 215 this time and there were no issues with noise. La Posada is full of character and history. The decor and grounds are beautiful. Despite my rave review, if you favor 4-star luxury hotels with all...

I'm sorry some travelers had poor reviews for La Posada because we had nothing but a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly especially the servers at The Turquoise Room, J. for dinner and O. for breakfast. I think one good way to get a good meal is ask the server what they like. Then ask what are the customers...

This is a must stop if you are ever in the area. Too many things to say and see here. A fabulously done restoration of one of the best hotels ever built (1930). Now the best part - the rates are fantastic for what you get - $119-139 king or two full beds, $139-169 with balcony or whirlpool tub! Pets...

La Posada is a unique art gallery / hotel / restaurant on Route 66. Very nicely renovated and well worth the detour to Winslow (it's also the only reason to stop in Winslow). Both dinner and breakfast was the best food we had on our trip through Arizona. Our room was away from the railroad side, and very quiet.

There's not much of note in Winslow Arizona, except perhaps a famous corner AND La Posada. It's also about an hour to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks. We have stayed at La Posada several times now and route our southwestern road trips to go through Winslow so that we can visit this gem of a hotel. The...

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. Beautifully restored and the grounds well kept. Felt like we were 'back in time' . Enjoyed a lovely meal in a lovely setting. We love traveling by train and would definitely make this a stop over next time.

La Posada is a gem lovingly restored with periodic decor and furnishings, picturesque grounds and individually designed rooms, each one named for a famous guest. Our room, 123, was quiet and comfy. The Turquoise Room restaurant is five-star for its food and service, and you'll catch glimpses but barely hear the BNSF freight trains rolling by the back of the...

We have been here a number of times and recommend it to friends. The renovations have been really well done and the art throughout is quite amazing all created by Tina Mion. The rooms are excellent and are all named after famous people, mostly actors. A small grip, a hotel of this quality should have something better than plastic glasses...
