This is an historic hotel, one of very few left from the early 1900's when most travelers in the west arrived by train. If you stay here, be sure to explore the one of a kind, gracious and lovely architecture and grounds. A veritable who's who of the most famous Americans of the first half of the last century stayed...

Think of a wonderful 40 room B&B with a 5-star restaurant attached. The city is nothing special, but La Posada is a MUST GO. We make an annual trip on the motorcycles. People are friendly, and the place is SO unique. Don't be afraid of the nearby Amtrack and other trains that go by... the place is built so solid...

My wife and I were simply looking for a pet friendly motel. Little did we know our stay at the LA Posada was an experience in itself. Part museum, part art gallery, part hotel, I spent much of my evening enjoying the art gallery and vintage books that are open for the enjoyment of everyone. The restaurant is fabulous. We...

This was my first overnight stay. I've visited before and watched the restoration. It is remarkable to see the changes (watch the videos while you are there to see the changes and learn the history). The musician playing guitar in one of the fabulously decorated public rooms has played every night for many years. The meals in The Turquoise Room...

La Posada Hotel is stunning! The owners have done a remarkable job in restoring this historic place. The old Santa Fe Railroad Hotel, built in 1929 and designed by Mary Jane Colter, is a jewel, filled with beautiful antique furnishings, artifacts and artwork. Beginning with the warm welcome by the staff at the front desk to our perfectly appointed room...

A very comfortable and beautiful restored historic hotel, right on 2nd Street ( historically known as Highway 66 ); the rooms are cozy and very clean, the prices are not so cheap, $160 and up for a night. Very nice restaurant onsite as well, expensive but great food. There are only a few other options nearby to eat; signal not...

This was the first time we stayed at the La Posade and it was just wonderful. So much history and our room and stay there was just perfect. We had dinner in the Turquoise Room, what a super meal. If our travels take us back there one day, you can bet we will stay there.

We stayed here several years ago and on a recent road trip and it was excellent both times. Grounds and patios are very nice- the room comfortable and spotless as was the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast in the Turquoise Room- excellent menu selections, food and friendly/prompt...
