We went for our Anniversary with our two dogs. Our room had a nice patio, facing a large garden area. The room was very charming .All over the hotel you have a possibility to sit and relax. The southwestern architecture is not only outside also inside. Lots to see .The staff is wonderful. There is not much to see in Winslow,...

Every room is named after a different famous person or movie star who visited the hotel! We stayed in the Doublemint Twins Room and found it fascinating! The restaurant is famous and right downstairs! The BEST!

The hotel is charming and the staff friendly and engaging. We stayed one night on trip from Monument Valley to Phoenix. Each room has a historical name based on a famous person who slept there. We would stay again!

La Posada is a terrific achievement by the team that has worked to renovate it over the past few years. The furnishings and décor are exquisitely curated and a feast for the eyes. The public areas, especially, are splendid and authentic to the architecture and the period. The sleeping rooms are more spare but also boast many beautiful decorative touches....

The hotel itself is simply a remarkable place. That it still exists at all might be a miracle. La Posada was one of the places the Fred Harvey Company gave renowned architect Mary Colter free reign- and La Posada is the result. The hotel features massive southwestern architecture, with gardens and private, hidden spots all around the hotel and grounds....

Pet friendly, nice rooms, great art and the Turquoise Room was tasty as well. Went hiking at the Homolovi ruins and played chess in the lobby. Check out the back of the hotel for private decks and a hay bale maze.

La Posada is a beautifully restored, historic, Fred Harvey hotel. The huge common rooms have old southwest inspired furnishings, and there are many nooks and cranny’s to cozy up and watch television or quietly read a book; a massive chess set for those so inclined; a video about the Harvey girls, continuously playing; and art galore on the walls. Bear...

This hotel was originally part of the railroad network to popularize travel to the West. Each room has a different décor, the grounds are lovely with local plantings, the lobby and public areas are warm, inviting, and comfortable. One thing to keep in mind is that the property abuts a busy railroad yard in constant use. The management provides ear...

We stayed three nights in this pretty hotel; had room 107 (Albert Einstein room). This hotel is not modern, but it is restored and full of gorgeous tilework and vintage furniture. Our room was a good size, with a nice seating area. The bathroom was a bit quirky, but I'm sure it was retrofitted during the restoration. You have to...

We have been staying at the La Posada regularly since 2008. The hotel has been reconverted to Mary Colter's design with period accoutrements and furniture. The rooms are really comfortable and the staff is excellent. We are always welcomed back with warm greetings. The hotel was a Union Pacific hotel and the Amtrak station still operates. Trains pass regularly which...
