Our 3 day stay at the Sheridan House Inn was absolutely nothing less than perfect. We arrived the day after Christmas and the Inn was decorated beautifully inside and out and the light snow that started to fall when we arrived, made it seem as though we had just stepped into

The pleasure of having you in our inn was all ours! Seeing our guests relaxing, delighting in our creative and artistic breakfasts, discovering all our little touches in the rooms, and in awe over the surrounding beauty of our little oasis in forest and the majestic Grand Canyon is what drives us. We truly are passionate about setting the scene for you to make memories, and are so glad we did just that. We hope you do come back. - Debbie and Mark

The Sheridan House is by far the best B&B we have ever stayed at. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's actually an ideal, a model of perfection of that concept. Mark and Debbie really, really, REALLY want you to have a good experience, and they outdid themselves making us feel

We struggle with how to respond to a review that sounds too good to be true, but the Taylor's were here with us and their experience is truly what we strive to achieve with all our guests. It is in our hearts to help our guests have an experience they can treasure, and that they leave better than they arrived. That is what the Sheridan House Inn is all about, and why we pour our heart and soul into it, as do our staff team members. Thank you for these incredibly kind words, for being our guests and becoming our friends. We hope you will return. - Debbie and Mark Santy, Innkeepers

This is one classy operation, owned and run by two wonderful hosts. The rooms and the breakfasts are over the top and both make you feel like you are their only guests. If traveling to Grand Canyon, don't stay in Flagstaff. Go to Williams and stay with Mark and Debbie. 12/10

Thank you so much, Nigel, and thank you for being our guests. We know we have the nicest people who come through our doors, and we want to get to know them and to serve them. It is our passion to see that our guests' vacations here are a memorable and personalized experience. Plus, we believe that breakfast is not only the most important meal of the day, but is the best part of our day - serving our guests delicious offerings while enjoying the forest views and special conversation with us and with their fellow travelers - unless they want to delight in each other in the comfort of their rooms with breakfast in bed. We aim to please. We hope you come back again. - Debbie and Mark, Innkeepers

Stayed here a couple days while in the area to visit the Grand Canyon. There are places closer to the Grand Canyon to stay, but, to me, none of them seemed up to the quality that I wanted. Sheridan House Inn is an hour's drive to the Grand Canyon, and an hour and a half to get

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We know that you did a lot of research and are glad that you found us and realize the quality of our services, upscale environment, and cleanliness of our rooms. We continually try to balance our friendliness and attentiveness to our guests vs. giving privacy and being non-intrusive to everyone here on vacation. We do spend a lot of time at check-in and then are always around and welcome the opportunity to spend more time with our guests - as we do believe we have the most interesting people stay with us - and leave it up to the individuals as to whether they want to sit and talk or spend quality time with each other in their rooms. We apologize if you felt we didn't give you the attention you desired. Regarding hearing noise while in your room, we are continually making improvements for lessen any sound heard in other rooms, through various ways, as it is important to us; it is unfortunate that some guests were unusually loud unusually early. It is certainly never our intention to talk in a harsh way to each other or to anyone, for that matter, so we are sorry for any awkwardness an unintentional lapse of kind attention caused. We feel blessed to call Sheridan House Inn our home and to be able to share it with so many wonderful people who come through our doors. - Mark and Debbie Santy

We are humbled by your kind words. Thank you. It gives us joy to make special memories for our guests, and we believe in personalized service, as every guest has different preferences and ways they like to travel. We also know that traveling is stressful and can be overwhelming, so our aim is to assist wherever possible to see that our guests have the best and most memorable experience, whether seeing the incredible sights in our area, spending time here at our peaceful inn, or while having our "foodie favorite" breakfasts. So glad we made it special for you! See you again whenever you can find your way back. - Mark and Debbie Santy, Innkeepers/owners

How far is it to the Grand Canyon and how did you get there? Thank you
As you can see from the other answers, it is about an hour drive to the Grand Canyon from Williams. We chose Williams because we wanted to do the train. It was really nice and relaxing and we still had time to see quite a bit of the canyon. If you want more time, then you probably want to drive yourself so there is no time frame. This B&B is absolutely wonderful and you won't be disappointed if you choose to stay there.
